There are three scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday (after Hexham was abandoned), with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Hereford and to study on testing ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the former venue (and Kerry Lee sure to be well represented at her local track). Flat fans have varied racing to study at Thirsk as their season begins , and the huge field handicaps looking especially competitive for the time of year. Southwell stage the only AW fixture under lights, with low grade action getting underway at 5.30pm.

Supasunrise
Hereford 3.35 (UK time)
Nigel Twiston-Davies has his small team for the spring/summer in cracking heart at the moment (2 winners from 12 runners in the last fortnight), and his consistent chaser has optimum conditions at Hereford on Tuesday. He ran really well when fourth in a competitive hfield over 2m7f last time out at Huntingdon, and the drop back to 2m5f here should be ideal if ridden more positively by the 3lb claimer Finn Lambert.
Odds: 5.50
Rocky Hill
Hereford 3.05 (UK time)
Tom Lacey’s promising handicapper served notice when finishing second over this course and distance last time out having been gambled-on, and looks the type to rattle up a sequence this spring for his astute connections. He is far less exposed than all of these rivals after just four runs over hurdles, and has been given a month break to try and avoid the bounce factor second time back.
Odds: 4.50
