There are five meetings in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with Gowran Park, Leicester and Newcastle (AW) providing some competitive if modest quality flat action to keep bookmakers and punters busy through to the evening. Jumping fans have interesting cards at Hereford and Huntingdon to get stuck into, with the rain last week very welcome in taking the jar out of the ground (and improving field sizes).

Heritage House
Leicester 3:25 (UK time)
James Fanshawe has regained some form after a largely disappointing summer, and his useful juvenile filly has been found an excellent opportunity at Leicester on Tuesday. She impressed when making a winning start into handicaps over this course and distance in August (running on strongly on the quick ground), and posted a career best when just denied on much softer ground at Doncaster last time out (free early but travelled powerfully). This Conditions prize represents a jump up in class, but there is plenty more to come after just five career starts and she can pick these off late under Tom Marquand.
Odds: NA
Chris’s Mate
Leicester 4:00 (UK time)
Robyn Brisland does well with a relatively small team of horses every season, and his unexposed 2-y-o stepped forward when finishing second at Yarmouth last time out on handicap debut (front two pulling miles clear of the rest on eased decent ground). He remains with plenty of scope to improve after just four career starts, and can swoop late under Callum Shepherd.
Odds: NA
