Tom Clover’s filly remains a maiden after seven runs so far, but she has shaped well in defeat on a few occasions and can take advantage of a marked drop in class at Lingfield on Tuesday. She caught the eye from well off the pace at Wolverhampton last time out (finishing with running left in the tank from a poor position), and can swoop late here under Rab Havlin if seeing any daylight up the short straight.

Ali Stronge’s handicapper has proved expensive to follow this winter since returning from a long break, usually lacking a change of gear at the business end, but he has often ran really well in defeat and should take plenty of beating here in a modest looking Class 4 contest. He will relish the likely strong pace up front over this 1m2f trip (with a few frontrunners in the line up), and can power through late under regular rider Ross Coakley.
