There are five race meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Catterick, Chepstow and Fairyhouse to analyse on very testing ground, with some huge field handicaps to try to solve at the Irish venue. AW fans have decent grade action through to the evening under lights, with Lingfield and Kempton staging low grade action.

Ruth Jefferson’s mare had been building a progressive profile until slightly disappointing at a short price at Market Rasen last time out (tapped for toe when Holly swept clear), and she is fancied to bounce back to her best form at Catterick on Wednesday. She has won 4 from 10 over hurdles, including an impressive win round this sharp track on soft ground, and the step back up in trip to 2m3f should be ideal under regular rider Brian Hughes.
