There are five race meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Catterick, Chepstow and Fairyhouse to analyse on very testing ground, with some huge field handicaps to try to solve at the Irish venue. AW fans have decent grade action through to the evening under lights, with Lingfield and Kempton staging low grade action.

Autumn Return
Catterick 2:25 (UK time)
Ruth Jefferson’s mare had been building a progressive profile until slightly disappointing at a short price at Market Rasen last time out (tapped for toe when Holly swept clear), and she is fancied to bounce back to her best form at Catterick on Wednesday. She has won 4 from 10 over hurdles, including an impressive win round this sharp track on soft ground, and the step back up in trip to 2m3f should be ideal under regular rider Brian Hughes.
Odds: NA
Cokytho
Catterick 3:00 (UK time)
Alex Hales does well with limited ammunition every winter, and his maiden chaser looked a surefire future winner when finishing a well backed second at Market Rasen last time out (finishing with running left in the tank having been poorly positioned initially). He now has a record of 0 from 11 over the larger obstacles, but most of those came in France in much warmer company, and has been running himself into form (from a plummeting handicap mark) since arriving in the UK.
Odds: NA
