There are four scheduled meetings in Britain and Ireland on Wednesday , with NH fans in for an informative afternoon. They have Hereford, Wexford and Wincanton to study on drying ground, with some decent handicaps to try to solve at the Somerset venue (and Paul Nicholls sure to be well represented). AW fans have decent grade action to study at Kempton, the floodlights coming on at 5.30pm at the Sunbury track and the maiden and novice contests looking especially interesting for the time of year.

Abingworth
Wincanton 3.00 (UK time)
Gary Moore has enjoyed his best season to date and continues in excellent form with 3 winners in the last fortnight, and his improving 6-y-o chaser is expected to relish the spring ground likely at Wincanton on Wednesday (with regular rider David Noonan booked for the ride). He comes here on the back of a cracking second behind Chance a Tune at Hereford in February, and remains open to plenty of improvement after just five career starts over fences so far.
Odds: 5.50
Fortuna Ligna
Wincanton 3.30 (UK time)
Anthony Honeyball’s frustrating performer has only won 1 of her 10 career starts over hurdles so far, often looking tricky and hanging off the bridle, but she has still run with credit in slightly stronger company in the frame in recent months. This sharp track on better ground promises to suit under championship-chasing Harry Cobden, and he will be looking to swoop late in what should be a strongly run mares handicap.
Odds: 7.00
