Hello to my fellow bettors at betting expert, let's make some money. i think none of 2 sides will have essy match but going with value. definitely believe in this outcome, most of bookies have too high odds. We do have an obvious edge , so my max stake for this game. Hopefully this will be another clash where we are taking a profit.

Although not favoured to win, I am expecting Tasman to hold their own in the 1st half against a relatively slow starting Hawkes Bay. I am predicting that the Hawkes Bay coach will stick to his team's winning formula of game winning power finishes, & not press for a power start to this game.

The first of the two Premiership semi-finals kicks off here at 16h30 in Napier, Hawkes Bay, NZ, and the weather looks good! Almost no chance of rain although a stiff breeze could play into either side's hands if they have the wind at their backs in the second. This may be one where the toss becomes important, not often we can say that in rugby union! Hawkes Bay have arguably been the surprise of the season, not only did they go through the entire regular season unbeaten but they also managed to hold onto the Ranfurly Shield for well over a season now, a feat not many teams can claim. The Shield won't be up for grabs this time around but you can be sure that the allure of winning a Premiership title will well motivate this team after coming into this Premiership by way of promotion from the Championship at the end of last season. Tasman on the other hand must be the biggest disappointment of the season, after being favourites to win the comp at the start they struggled through the regular season and at the end they barely managed to scrape their way into the playoffs. The form book will suggest that Hawkes Bay will win this match at home, and they should win it well at that. However, Tasman just boasts so much talent on the team sheet that it would take a brave man to go against them in a playoff, where they have historically been so strong. For all these reasons, and the fact that the weather will be fine, I think the best option in this match is to go for an overs play on the total match points. Both sides can turn it on at any given time and with the wind at their backs each team should get a good opportunity for 40 minutes to do just that. The best bet for this fixture in my opinion is therefore to go for the over 43.5 total match points, as it could well end up in excess of 50 points.
