Jim Miller vs Vinc Pichel Fight Predictions: UFC 252 ‘Prelims’ Main Event

While Miller is still a solid submission-artist, you need a larger toolbox in this day and age to make it in the UFC: ‘the pinnacle’ of MMA. Miller loses fights where his opponent doesn’t want to go to the ground with him, and even though Pichel is a strong grappler, I think he’s smart enough to avoid being submitted here. After all, Pichel has only been submitted once in his career, by Gregor Gillespie.

Pichel keeps this on the feet where his advantageous striking differential along with reach and size earn him the unanimous decision Saturday night.

Prediction: Vinc Pichel via unanimous decision.

In the next fight of UFC 252, we head to the main card, where Ion Cutelaba and Magomed Ankalaev settle the score. The last time they fought misread fight antics from Cutelaba urged referee Kevin MacDonald to stop the fight prematurely. Now, Cutelaba wants to prove he has what it takes to beat Ankalaev. ‘The Hulk’ is back in the cage Saturday night.
