After suffering a unanimous decision loss to UFC veteran Andrei Arlovski in his UFC debut Philipe Lins is back. He faces Canadian Tanner Bosser on the prelims of UFC Vegas 4.
by Bettingexpert Sports Staff, Jun 20, 2020, at 1.05 pm.
Philipe Lins had his four-fight win streak snapped against UFC veteran Andrei Arlovski when he went the distance in his UFC debut this May. Now, he makes his second UFC appearance as he takes on Canadian heavyweight Tanner Bosser. Lins was the champion in PFL, another MMA promotion, prior to his UFC debut. Tanner Bosser is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Ciryl Gane and is looking to get back in the win column.
Both fighters are strikers and like to handle their business on the feet with their fists. Philipe Lins wasn’t able to get the knockout over Andrei Arlovski, but perhaps Bosser could be the first victim of Lins’ power, in the UFC. Lins will have to be careful though, as Bosser is something of a powerhouse himself.

The randomness of outcomes we see in the UFC’s heavyweight division is greater than that of any other weight class. Furthermore, in heavyweight fights that end in a knockout, they do so in the first round sixty percent of the time. Both fighters, Bosser and Lins, like to stay standing and box. They have sixteen knockouts combined. The round betting market could be interesting for this fight, and a first-round finish could be worth a punt.
Just this weekend we saw an undefeated UFC debutant beaten badly. Lins botched his shot at a promising UFC run when he lost to Andrei Arlovski. He has yet to win inside the UFC. Bosser, on the other hand, is 1-1 in the UFC and has shown that he is able to win on a big stage. On top of that, a six-year age advantage and a significantly higher striking average should be enough to give Bosser the win here. Bosser also has some kilos on Lins which could come in handy for him, as he will be the bigger man. We predict Tanner Bosser to get the win.
