MINNESOTA TWINS VS TAMPA BAY RAYS: Over 9 runs

Taj Bradley and Dallas Keuchel are tonight’s starters. Bradley has an ERA in the fives, while he’s been well below league average xwOBA over his last 100 plate appearances. Keuchel has ridden some batted-ball luck thus far, but owns an ugly 5.62 xERA.
Minnesota has a 120 wRC+ over the last fortnight. They should be able to put up a few runs against Bradley. Tampa Bay’s offence has blown hot and cold of late, yet they have still scored six or more runs in four of their last five.
Both teams could go to their relievers early on if their starters struggle. Their bullpens have pitched well over the last month in general, but the workload could be significant if Bradley and Keuchel are chased out of this one early. The over is clearly the way to go with this starting matchup.
PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES VS ATLANTA BRAVES: Ronald Acuna over 1.5 total bases

Ronald Acuna is having an all-time season. Batting .333 with an OPS of 1.001, he’s the frontrunner for National League MVP and has a Baseball Savant page popping with red dots.
Acuna has been a surefire thing on his total bases over all year. He’s passed this line in five of his last seven games. While his average has dropped by three points through the first three games of this series, he’s excelled against groundball pitchers this year (.349 average) and he faces one of the games premier groundball arms in Cristopher Sanchez, who ranks in the 97th percentile in groundball rate.
At this price, there’s great value taking Acuna to have over 1.5 total bases. With his record leading off games, this wager could land in the first plate appearance of the night.
HOUSTON ASTROS VS OAKLAND ATHLETICS: Paul Blackburn over 3.5 strikeouts

The Astros have the lowest strikeout rate over the last fortnight, and have a contact-heavy offence. Oakland starter Paul Blackburn can still feel a bit hard done by with his strikeouts line on Wednesday night, however, as the 29-year-old has gone over this number in eight of his last nine starts.
The first of those nine outings was against these Astros, when he notched five strikeouts. He’s gone under this number only three times in 17 starts.
While Houston has done a great job at avoiding strikeouts against the last few starters they have faced, Blackburn’s track record means there’s good value here even at a short price.
