Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic Best Bet: Low-Scoring Friday Night in Chicago
Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic Best Bet: Friday, November 18th
TGIF! We came up just short last night with the Portland vs Brooklyn game, but its Friday, and what better day to bounce back?! The Chicago Bulls are taking on the Orlando Magic tonight at United Center and I’ve got 2 solid value bets ready and waiting.

Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic Preview
Sat, Nov 19th. 01:00 (UK time)
Despite coming into the season with a solid roster and high expectations, the Chicago Bulls have left a lot to be desired, winning just 6 of their 15 games and sitting in 12th place in the east. They have won just 3 of their last 10, are on a 3-game losing streak and coming off a 124-110 loss against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Bulls are now back at home hoping to bounce back against a battered Orlando Magic squad, but their form has been terrible and they might just struggle more than expected.
The Chicago Bulls are a mess at the moment, averaging just 107.8 points scored per game whilst allowing 115.0. Their offence has ranked 21st in the league this season, dropping down to 24th over their last 5. DeRozan and LaVine are both having great scoring seasons, but the team’s offence struggles to get going when they aren’t on the floor, and their bench has been averaging 33.4 points per game. The Bulls have been struggling to score this season, and 4 of their last 5 games have gone under the total points line.
Not a lot of people expected the Orlando Magic to do very well this season, and they certainly have met most people’s expectations. With just 4 wins and 11 losses after a month of action, the Magic are 13th in the Eastern Conference with not a lot of hope of moving up. They are currently on a 2-game losing streak and heading out to a 3-game road trip that will see them facing Chicago tonight, and the Pacers tomorrow and on Monday. They have yet to win a road game this season, having lost all of their 6 games so far, and injury issues will likely keep them down in the coming games.
With Paolo Banchero, Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac, Cole Anthony and Mo Wagner out, the Magic are left with very few players who can contribute. Wendell Carter Jr is likely to return tonight, along with Gary Harris, who would be making his season debut after a left knee injury. The Magic have been struggling on both sides of the floor this season, averaging only 109.9 points per game whilst allowing 113.3. Their defence has picked it up recently, ranking 9th in the NBA in points allowed per game, and they are ranked 18th in defensive rating over their last 5.
Chicago Bulls vs Orlando Magic Best Bet
The Chicago Bulls are heavy favourites to win this one at 1.26 odds, and the Magic are valued at 4.01. The Spread is set at 9.0 points, but I see this as generous, as the Bulls haven’t done enough to deserve it. With the way they have been playing, 9 points way too many, even when playing against bottom-feeding teams.
The Bulls have been struggling to score all season, and their games usually go under, except when suffering a blowout loss, which is exactly what happened against the Pelicans last game. On the flip side, the Magic are battered and bruised and have yet to win a road game, and it’s hard to imagine either team really getting their offence going. I’m expecting a low-scoring affair tonight. What’s more, 95% of bettors are backing the Bulls to win this one, and I see some solid value in both the Under and the underdogs to cover.
