Monday night brings the Denver Nuggets an opportunity to win their first NBA title. Carrying a commanding 3-1 lead in the Finals, Denver can wrap this series up at home after dominating the Heat over eight quarters of action in Miami. Just as the pre-series odds indicated, this series has been a mismatch, with Denver simply having too much talent for their opponents.
All of Denver’s wins have been by double digits. Miami’s lone victory required an outlier shooting performance, paired with the Nuggets forgetting how to play defence for a prolonged period. That game still saw Jamal Murray have a shot to force overtime as the buzzer sounded. It could so easily have been a sweep already – this has been as one-sided as many feared.

Yes, there is going to be a reluctance to rule out the Heat with what they have achieved in this postseason. When Jimmy Butler is playing like a mere mortal, though, Miami does not possess the firepower to go toe-to-toe with this Denver team.
The zone irritated the Nuggets for a period, but they have solved that conundrum over the last two games. Erik Spoelstra has thrown all sorts of coverages at the Murray and Nikola Jokic two-man game, but none of them have proved effective.
Throwing extra bodies at Murray was the preferred option in Game Four. Murray was held to just 15 points after catching fire for 34 in Game Three, but he has showcased his exceptional playmaking ability throughout this series.
Even in a key spell without Jokic, Murray took over the game as a creator for himself and others. His potential assists have soared into the high teens in this series. He’s had double-digit dimes in every game, including a 12-assist effort last time out. The 8.5 line is too low here.
Alongside Murray, Denver got a spectacular performance from Aaron Gordon in Game Four. Gordon dropped 27-7-6, hitting a few threes and again showing his effectiveness as a play finisher. He has been impactful on the boards all series, often competing on the offensive glass and earning Denver some extra possessions.
Miami has hidden smaller defenders on Gordon. He has taken advantage as a scorer, and he’s also been able to overpower them when it comes to rebounding. The former Orlando forward has gone over this line in three of four games this series.
We are backing Denver to finish this off in front of their own fans. They have lost one game at home all Playoffs, and have been by far the superior team in this series.
We’re using bet365 for this. There is an extensive choice of player prop lines with player lines for points, assists, rebounds, threes and more. They are broken down beyond the expected lines to various totals for all of the above.
Our final leg of the bet builder, however, focuses on Bam Adebayo, who has had an excellent series at both ends of the floor. Adebayo has been a scorer when required, plus has done a bit of everything for the Heat. His rebound totals in this series read 13, 9, 17 and 11. His assist numbers are 5, 4, 3 and 3 after dishing 12 dimes over the final two games of the Conference Finals. After going over this line in four of six, there’s value on over 14.5 rebounds and assists.
