The Golden State Warriors are one win away from the second round of the NBA Playoffs. A dramatic win in Sacramento a couple of days ago gives the Dubs a 3-2 series advantage over their north California rivals. Golden State was 2-0 down, but has got back on track with three straight wins and is heavily favoured for Game Six at Chase Center.
Sacramento has been competitive throughout, but inconsistent production from role players has hit them hard. De’Aaron Fox is also playing through a finger injury. While it didn’t seem to hamper him too much on Wednesday, it is still a factor against some smothering defence from the Warriors.

Steph Curry and Klay Thompson have hit a catalogue of tough shots in this series, aided by occasional bursts from Jordan Poole. It is the frontcourt where the Warriors have really shone, however, with Kevon Looney dominating at both ends and Draymond Green playing like his prime self since his Game Three suspension.
Green has responded perfectly to being moved to the bench, scoring 21 points with seven assists and five stocks on Wednesday. He is guarding Fox in crucial moments, and has delivered a string of exceptional plays to swing this series in the favour of the defending champions. Having recorded 30 assists in four outings, we feel very comfortable taking Green to notch five or more dimes. Only Spencer Dinwiddie and Trae Young have averaged more potential assists this postseason.
Then, we’ve got to take a look at Looney’s props. In the three wins, Looney has averaged 18.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists. He’s been a consistent threat on the offensive boards, earning the Dubs extra possessions and overpowering the Kings. Only Anthony Davis is grabbing more contested rebounds per game in these Playoffs.
Looney has had seven or more boards in all five games. He could pass this in the first quarter – it’s a good option to insure against foul trouble.
The last player prop in this bet builder involves the understated impact of Andrew Wiggins. The Splash Brothers, Looney’s gaudy rebounding numbers and Green’s general drama attract most of the media and fan attention. Wiggins has just quietly returned from his absence and picked up where he left off last postseason.
The former Timberwolf has scored 17+ in every game this series. He is effectively attacking favourable matchups, often bailing the Warriors out late in the shot clock. He sneaks in for the odd offensive rebound, and will regularly be there to convert interior passes when the defence helps on Curry or Thompson.
Golden State should wrap this series up on Friday night – Wiggins will again be a huge part of their success.
Exceptional at home all season, it is a huge ask for the Kings to force a Game Seven. The champions have shown us they’re not done just yet.
