Tonight’s game will be short for a couple of superstars on the court but we’re surely in for a good ride. The supporting cast of the Lakers has shown improvement and depth after the recent trades. Tonight, they will be missing both L. James and A. Davis due to foot injuries. D. Russell is still “questionable” and we expect him to play because of the shortened rotation. The Lakers are a very good offensive team and they keep improving their percentages.

They are averaging almost 118 points per game with a 54% effective field goal rating. We expect these numbers to improve even more after the departure of R. Westbrook. Recently they’ve been shooting over 40% from behind the arc (game-winning stretch) and they will try to build up on that good form tonight.

The Wolves are in a tough spot. They’ve made Playoff contention trades before and during the season but they haven’t shown radical improvement. R. Gobert after coming with a superstar label has been having an average season. K. A. Towns is missing a lot of games which is very unusual for him, and all of this led to their .500 score and 8th spot in the West. Interesting to notice is the Wolves’ points allowed from the paint where they should excel, they are allowing over 50 points per game which is showing that R. Gobert (and the whole team) is having a bad defensive season.

K.A. Towns will be missing tonight for the Wolves due to a hamstring injury whilst J. Nowell is out due to a knee injury.
