The end of the NBA regular season is very enar with only 3 games left on the slate and some temas have already started to rest their key players. The Bucks have all but secured the top seed in the east and we are hoping they give their starters a break after last night’s game against the Wizards.

The Bulls have been in solid form since the All-Star break and their dynamic dou of DeRozan and LaVine has done very well this year against the Bucks. We see some value here and are backing the dogs tonight against the spread.

The Milwaukee Bucks are on track tolinchin the top seed in the east once again. They are 1st in the conference with a 57-22 record and with just 3 games left to go, all they need to do is win one game or the Celtics to lose one. It’s that simple. Following this game, they have the Grizzlies at home and the Raptors at Scotiabank Arena. It’s still unclear whether coach Budenholzer is going to rest his starters, namely Giannis, but given the fact they just played the Wizards on the road last night, there is reason to believe this will happen. They didn’t play heavy minutes, but the playoffs are right around the corner and an injury here would be a huge problem.

For the Bulls, it’s been a very difficult and injury-ridden season so far, bt their form has recovered since the All-Star break and they have now secured a play-n spot. They are 10th in the east and have the Mavericks and Pistons after this one. They are coming off an embarrassing 105-123 home loss against the Atlanta Hawks. But we do have reason to believe that the Bulls can bounce back here and give the Bucks a run for their money.

The Bulls’ defence has been one of the ebay in the league in the last 10 games, ranking 6th in defensive rating and allowing just 109.0 points per game. The Bulls have also won 2 of their 3 encounters against the Bucks this season, and they will have a largely clean injury report. Last time out they played without DeMar DeRozan, but in the 2 games he played against the Bucks, he went off for 42 and 36 points. The duo of LaVin and DeRozan has really been great this year, averagin 25.1 and 24.9 points per game and they will both be available tonight.

It’s very difficult to predict exactly how this game is going to go, but if the Bucks decide to rest a lot of their key players, the Bulls can have a field day. Giannis, Carter, Holiday, Crowder and Lopez are questionable while Ingles and Connaughton are doubtful for tonight.

Regardless, the Bulls are in much better shape and can keep the game close even with everyone playing. The bookmakers have set the spread at -7.0 in favour of the Bucks and I see some value in backing the underdog here. If Budenholzer indeed decides to rest his squad, this can be a walk in the park.
