We will witness a clash of very potent offences tonight as the 27-26 Timberwolves will host the Warriors who are sitting on a 26-24 record. The Wolves will be missing Karl-Anthony Towns tonight as well (Gobert “questionable”), giving a slight edge on the Moneyline to the visitors.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are having a solid season, they are floating above 0.500 for a while now. Karl-Anthony Towns, who has been known to not miss any games early in his career has not been available for a lot of games until now. R. Gobert is not delivering the stat lines that are expected from him under the rim. The Wolves are averaging 115.1 PPG whilst letting their opponents score 0.01 points fewer. They are by the true meaning of the word in the middle.
For tonight’s game, besides the injured KAT, they will be missing J. McLaughlin with a hamstring injury whilst R. Gobert is “questionable”.
The Warriors, on the other hand, have been performing very well recently since they’ve been complete. They have won 4 out of 5 last games and they have shown great consistency overall over the past few weeks. They are ranked 2nd in the league in PPG with 118 whilst they are shooting 36% from behind the arc (the last 5-game stretch 44%).
The Warriors have been playing the Run and Gun system for years and are very successful with it, they average over 115 possessions per game and this style does not work for Minnesota.
Rudy Gobert will not be able to play against the small ball lineups of the visitors. (If he plays at all)
The Warriors have won 3 out of the last 4 games on the road, and the same thing should happen tonight. We believe the Warriors are a team that can challenge the Wolves with the style they play. Their roster is not composed to answer small ball lineups and the Warriors are the kings of small ball. We believe the game will be pretty straightforward if the Warriors can stay even close to their recent percentages.
