Still in with a shot at the second seed in the Western Conference, the Sacramento Kings have plenty to play for. Phoenix, too, is looking over their shoulders at the Clippers and Warriors, though dropping to sixth might not be the worst outcome given the uneven Western Conference standings.

Sacramento lost both games of a back-to-back earlier this week, but they have generally been consistent this season and able to stave off losing streaks. Part of that is down to their depth, including rookie wing Keegan Murray.

Memphis is huge favourites over the Houston Rockets, despite winning this matchup by just five points a couple of nights ago. Houston, after a season of sustained losing and dysfunction, has made some progress of late.

Some of that can be attributed to the play of third overall pick Jabari Smith Jr. Smith scored 16 on Wednesday night after dropping 17 against the Warriors. He has gone over this points line in seven of his last nine.
