These teams both place in the bottom three in pace. Cleveland owns the number one defence, a metric Miami sits fifth in. Their two previous meetings this season have produced 197 and 200 points – the total is set in the mid-210s on Wednesday night, which doesn’t seem to make much sense.

Both are middle of the pack in offence over the last 10. While their defences appear to have dropped off, there’s little to suggest that is anything more than variance. Cleveland is still motivated to hold off the Knicks, and the Heat are still battling to get out of the Play-In.

Denver Nuggets vs Chicago Bulls Preview

Denver is eight-point favourites over the Chicago Bulls, which is a pretty fair number. It is the player props which really standout from this matchup, however, and particularly so with Michael Porter Jr’s points over.

The sharp-shooting forward has exceeded this line in five of his last seven. One of his unders was when he played 19 minutes in a blowout to the Grizzlies. In the other, he finished with 17 points in 23 minutes.

This game should be close enough for Porter to play 30+ minutes. With the Chicago defence forced to help on Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, Porter is bound to again find himself taking a lot of open shots. Only three teams concede more threes than the Bulls – he has been on fire of late, and should take advantage.
