The Kings already secured their spot and are down for a more leisurely game which gives us an indication there may be a lot of points tonight in the Pels’ home arena.

The Pelicans acquired a very important win against the Clippers 2 days ago, putting them in the front-runner spot for the first 5 spots. They are only one win behind the Clippers and will surely try to continue their good streak tonight. They have been plagued by the injuries to their main players throughout the whole season but it seems they’ve found offensive rhythm recently even without Z. Williamson who is out due to a muscle injury.

They’ve won 8 of their last 9 games while they’re averaging 118 points per game and letting their opponents score only 110, giving them a net margin of over 8 points during this stretch. This shows their championship mentality and ambitions. Tonight we will need their good offensive show against the always-hot Kings. Besides Zion, Pels will be missing J. Alvarado due to an unspecified injury as well as J. Lidell due to a knee injury.
