After the first two games were shared one apiece, the series is moving to MSG where the Knicks will have an edge. After acquiring a break against a higher seed, the Knicks must be very happy and will try to defend the home court while dangerous Cavs await their chance.

The Knicks have managed to fulfill their goal by winning one of two games on the away court. They’ve been very solid at home this season and it is needless to say they’ll have an edge in the next two games. Both teams are famous for their defence, and this series has an average of 199 points per game so far. We believe a similar story will be tonight as well. The Knicks will try to expose the weak defensive backcourt from the Cavs through their best player J. Brunson who is having a great series, averaging 24.5 Points per game. The Knicks will be missing I. Roby due to an ankle injury tonight.

After a first-round shock, the Cavs managed to pull back the series and tie it. They need to win one of the next games in MSG and we expect them to be very aggressive in attacking the basket. D. Mitchel had a17 point game which is unacceptable if they want to stay in the series. Both teams are almost identical in most of the offensive and defensive categories and we will not be seeking any edge in the stats. We believe the Cavs will have a better chance in the 2nd game in MSG than tonight.

The Cavs will only be missing D. Windler due to a foot injury.

Moneyline is showing us these teams are very well matched, favoring the Knicks slightly due to home court. We believe the most realistic moneyline is 1.55 on the home team and we believe the lines to shift in this direction until the game.
