After an authoritative statement on their home court, the Nuggets are going to Arizona for the third game against the Phoenix Suns. The Suns have received some very bad news as C. Paul will be missing games 3-5 (at least). The Nuggets are leading 2-0 and tonight’s game can improve their chances of going through by a significant margin.

The Suns’ flaws have been exposed by the Nuggets. Their bench depth is very weak and their percentages are below their seasonal averages. The Suns are even in danger of a sweep if you ask us. Kevin Durant and Devin Booker were fine, Durant missed some good looks but eventually recovered. If we pay attention to the stat sheets after the game, the same story stands, with no bench depth.

Of T. Ross, C. Payne, L. Shamet, the Suns need at least one of them to score 20 to have a say in this series as the Nuggets’ offence is just too good. K. Durant has been very bad in the clutch as well, shooting only 2/12 in the last quarter so far. Besides CP3, the Suns will not be missing anyone tonight.

The Nuggets look like a team that could win it all. They have the least amount of question marks until now from all the playoff teams. Their offence seems fluid and their defence solid. The shooting of K. Caldwell-Pope, MPJ, A. Gordon is just too much for the Suns. Denver is shooting over 37% from behind the arc and so far that was enough to clinch the first two games. Tonight’ we believe they will need a bit more efficiency since they’ll be playing on the road. We see the Nuggets taking tonight’s game and taking advantage of CP3’s injury.
