Minnesota Timberwolves -8.5

Minnesota has a subpar against-the-spread record on the second night of back-to-backs. Monday’s blowout over the Clippers meant the Timberwolves’ starters were kept to manageable minute totals, though, and this line just seems far too small.

Portland is an ugly -12.4 per 100 possessions without Malcolm Brogdon, who is unavailable for the foreseeable future. The Blazers have lost three of their last four by nine or more points. 

Anthony Edwards over 25.5 points

Anthony Edwards has cleared this line in three of his last four. A blowout meant he scored only nine points when these teams matched up last month. Edwards, however, is averaging just shy of 26 per game this season and has scored 26 or more points in six of his last 10 appearances. 

Portland is an okay defence and plays at a slow pace, yet we still expect a big night from Edwards. The volume will definitely be there. 

Rudy Gobert over 1.5 blocks

Rudy Gobert averages two blocks per game. He had four against the Clippers on Monday, leaving him with over 1.5 blocks in four of his last six outings.

Only two teams see their shots blocked more often than the Blazers. A poor shooting team, look for Portland to attack the rim, giving Gobert plenty of opportunities to register blocks.
