The third and the fourth seed of the Western Conference will face off tonight in Golden 1 Center. The Mavericks, currently still under the impression of a blockbuster trade where they acquired K. Irving will be hosted by a renewed Kings team that is showing a lot of offensive potential.

The Kings are playing above everyone’s expectations this season. The offence with D. Sabonis and D. Fox is giving good results and they are currently 3rd in the West with 31 wins and 23 losses. They are the 3rd best offence in the league averaging 119 points per game, and dishing 29 assists. Their offensive pace is very fast and they like to play in transition and with fastbreaks. They are averaging 16 points off fastbreaks this season which is expected with such an explosive backcourt. They are coming off a 2 win game stretch and they are expected to deliver tonight as well on their home court. The Kings will not be having any substantial injury issues tonight.

The Mavericks are still in shock after a blockbuster trade for them to acquire K. Irving and give Luka the much-needed help he deserved. Irving has already started off strong in his debut, playing 38 minutes and scoring 24 points whilst running Dallas’ offence impeccably. They have won the last 2 games as well and we are expecting them to build on that momentum. Irving will for sure try to prove himself once again in this new environment and we expect a lot of possessions if he is running things.

This gives us a very good foundation for our tip tonight as the total is 233.5. Both teams have the talent to score and we need a regular game tonight to get through the finish line.
