San Antonio Spurs vs Orlando Magic Bet Builder Tips: 2.05 Wager For Tuesday Night
San Antonio Spurs vs Orlando Magic Bet Builder: Tuesday, March 14th
The 28-40 Orlando Magic are comfortable favourites on the road against the 17-50 San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. Orlando won by 20 points when the teams met just before Christmas, and has continued to play good basketball since then, forcing themselves into the fringes of the Eastern Conference Play-In race.
San Antonio, on the other hand, flipped pieces at the deadline in Jakob Poeltl and Josh Richardson. Their focus has solely been on improving their lottery odds and trying to give experience to their younger talents.
Orlando’s Jonathan Isaac is out for the season, and Franz Wagner is doubtful for this game. The rest of their core players should all be available here. Tre Jones, Romeo Langford, Malaki Branham, and Khem Brich are listed as out for the Spurs. Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan are questionable.

San Antonio Spurs vs Orlando Magic Preview
Wed, Mar 15. 00:10 (UK time)
Since a poor start, the Magic have been around a .500 team, resulting in their favourites status for this one. They are 15-16 since the turn of the year, placing 19th in net rating, ahead of the Heat, Jazz, Pelicans and Mavericks. Over the same period, San Antonio is an ugly 5-26 with the worst net rating in the Association.
The Spurs have won three of their last six, but three of their starters from their last victory are unlikely to take the court for this game. With the Rockets and Pistons winning on Monday night, San Antonio have an opportu
nity to gain ground in the tank-off. Since losing Poeltl, the Spurs are running a lot of undersized line ups, which is problematic against the Magic, even if Wagner has to sit out.
Paolo Banchero has quickly become a matchup challenge for most teams, and San Antonio is very limited in its options to guard the 2022 first overall pick. Banchero seemed to benefit from the All-Star break more than most after hitting the rookie wall. He has passed this alternate points line in five consecutive games.
It hasn’t taken long for chemistry to develop between Banchero and another former first overall selection in Markelle Fultz. Fultz’s return coincided with Orlando’s improvement. His scoring comes and goes, but the former Sixer is a smart and crafty playmaker for others, and has notched five or more assists in eight of his last 11 games.

Facing the league’s worst defence, both Banchero and Fultz should be able to put up some solid numbers. They can contribute to each other’s production here too, with Fultz often putting Banchero in positions to score.
These teams are much further apart than the 10 games in the loss column suggest. Add in San Antonio’s injuries, and this seems like a lock for a Magic road win.
