Salt Lake City will be the battlefield tonight between the Jazz and the Wizards. The Jazz are sitting on a 0.53 ratio after opening the season furiously whilst the Wizards are playing up to their standards, winning only a couple of games so far and hugging the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

After entering the “Rebuilding mode”, the Jazz were expected to be in the bottom dome of the standings for the next couple of seasons. Their newest young additions are showing their true potential and are keeping the Jazz afloat in the standings, sitting over the 0.500 record which is an accomplishment in itself. L. Markkanen has been great so far this season, averaging 23 PPG and 8.5 RPG whilst shooting 53% from the field. The Jazz are 4th in the league in the offensive rating category with 115.6, which categorizes their offence as 4th-best in the NBA.
They are playing extremely fast, averaging over 110+ Possessions per game, which gives us a solid foundation for tonight’s bet. Regarding the health situation, the only “Questionable” player for tonight for the Jazz is Colin Sexton. He has played in 50% of his “questionable” games so we do not advise trying to take any value off this information.
The Wizards have been playing their own game. High scoring, fast transition, a high number of possessions, and developing young talent. They are sitting on a 12-20 record at the moment, snapping their 5-game losing streak in the last round against the Suns. They are the dead last team in every defensive statistical category in the last 10-game stretch, allowing their opponents to score over 115 points, and letting them shoot almost 50% from the field. I believe tonight the heavy artillery from the Jazz will have its say and will end up filling up the Wizards’ basket. The Wizards have K. Porzingis in a “questionable” status tonight, and that is everything as far as health issues for the Wizards go.
I am expecting a high number of possessions tonight, both teams will try to overrun their rivals. Both teams have won the majority of the games that had 240+ Total points scored, so we believe this will be the game plan for both teams. In this situation, we are chasing the Over Total Points on the 228.5 line.
