The meeting at Aintree takes centre stage for the ITV cameras on Saturday, with the Randox Grand National at 5.15pm the race that will have the entire world watching.

Many billions will be wagered, and the current favourite is Gordon Elliott’s Delta Work, for whom Jack Kennedy is a significant jockey booking.

There is also some cracking Graded action on the supporting card, with the Liverpool Hurdle at 3.35pm sure to attract some of the best stayers in Britain and Ireland.

This flat track on decent ground should be more suitable, and Jonjo O’Neill jnr is likely to ride him with more cover from rear here.
16:15	AINTREE	TEA CLIPPER	Tom Lacey’s consistent chaser has been running well in defeat all winter in the top handicaps, and seems sure to go close again here with his bold jumping a big asset over these demanding fences.
