There are 6 meetings in Britain and Ireland on Thursday, with competitive flat action from Haydock, Leopardstown, Newbury, Nottingham and Yarmouth. The quality card is in Ireland, where the Ballycorus Stakes at 6.15pm provides a rare midweek Group 3 contest over seven furlongs. Both Newbury and Nottingham put on some fascinating maidens, where the entries suggest the top yards will be well represented and the form likely to be strong going forwards. NH fans will be studying the
Uttoxeter card in the evening, with a big crowd likely and the meeting getting underway at 5.35pm.
