Karen Khachanov face Rafael Nadal. Rafa Nadal is contender for title on AO, but their we have Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev. I think here Rafa Nadal will be much better and I expect he will take this match in straight set over Karen Khachanov. In h2h matches Rafa Nadal is much better. My pick here is 3-0 for Rafa Nadal. Good luck!

Australian Open, Melbourne Park, men's singles, 3rd round: Rafael Nadal v Karen Khachanov
We get Rafa Nadal's match against Karen Khachanov from the Rod Laver Arena on Friday. Nadal played well in his past two matches but as the other top players (I mean Djokovic or Federer) he becomes better and better as long as he goes forward. I have no doubt that he pushes down Khachanov so that's my tip for this match and hinestly I think he solves this task in three sets.
Other tips: So Nadal is completely healthy that was not usual in the last years. After this match will get the winner of the Mannarino v Karatsev match. Easy to solve that so. After that we arrive to the quarterfinal where can come Zverev for Nadal. As four years ago at the US Open the semi-final was Nadal's real final when he got his first and only one serious oppinent Del Potro whom beat the Spanish in four sets. So the fact that the match against Zverev can be the final and if Nadal reaches to the semi-final then can face with Berrettini or Alcaraz. In the final can come Medvedev who is in my opinion weaker player than Zverev and he has great skills but his serve is not too strong.
Now I say that worth to put Nadal's final victory, the odds are high. Beside this th bookies give 2.50 odds for Nadal's Roland Garros victory which is also a gift especially if Djokovic can't be there.
And the last: Wimbledon. I know it's far away and probably I will write later again and again but it seems (at the moment) that there doesn't need to vaccination for the players and Djokovic can participate in the grass court tournament and I say then he will win. The odds are 2.00 and 2.10
That's all. :) Good luck!
This is match from third round of AUstralian Open, on hard surface. Khachanov is in very good form with four wins in last five matches while Nadal played just two matches this season and he is not on very high level so far so Khachanov can win this one as underdog.
Khachanov can be very dangerous to Nadal today. Of course Rafa enters as big favorites, but I will be cheering against him and my opinion is that Khachanov have a good chance to surprise. We will see, maybe he will be short in final set, but I am sure he can at least reach it.
Nadal is on an absolute roll to begin the season. He is also 7-0 lifetime against Karen Khachanov and a dominant 16-1 in total sets. As for Nadal’s fellow Spaniard Badosa, she has been one of the best players on tour dating back to last fall. The world No. 6 won her only previous meeting with Kostyuk in straight sets and more of the same should continue on Friday.
Khachanov has played 8 matches against Nadal so far and has never won. I don't think he will be able to beat Nadal even today. Nadal has won all 6 matches he has played this season. He won all the matches without losing a set. I think that Nadal is well motivated and that he will win today without any big problems
