Championship Favourites & Betting Odds

As mentioned, the biggest rivals in the race for the title this season will be Norwich and Watford. Despite finishing the last season as the lowest ranking team in the Premier League, Norwich hopes to make a big return by lifting up the trophy at the end of this season. From new bosses to new players, the Championship teams have completed a large number of transfers this summer. Some of the most expensive players on the market transfer list were Gabriel Sara, who joined Norwich, Vakoun Issouf Bayo, who is a new team member of Watford, and Anel Ahmedhodzic, who came as an improvement for the Sheffield Utd starting 11.

With several teams bringing new managers to light, a lot of fans expect their favourite team to make progress. Interestingly, the arrival of Michael Beale in QPR and Micheal Appleton in Blackpool show these teams’ great determination to put their potential into practice. On top of that, the ex-Manchester City legend, Vincent Kompany, will try his luck by coaching the Clarets from Burnley.

Championship Competition Format

The English Championship league consists of 24 teams. As each team plays two matches against every other team in the competition, there are 46 games in total. The position of teams depends on the number of points gained. The next factor according to which teams are ranked is goal difference, followed by the number of goals scored all the way to the h2h record between teams in the season.

As far as the promotion rules are concerned, the two highest ranking teams in the season are directly promoted to the Premier League, whereas the teams ranked from third to sixth join the playoffs. The team that wins the playoffs also gets promoted to the Premier League. On the other hand, the three teams that rank lowest are the ones that are relegated to League One.

When it comes to international competitions, the English Championship teams will have a chance to join the Europa League and Europa Conference League. In case a team from the English Championship wins the FA Cup, it will qualify for the Europa League group stage. Additionally, a club that wins the trophy in the EFL Cup secures a spot in the Europa Conference League.

EFL Championship Expert Predictions

Posting some good Championship betting tips does not merely mean looking at the ranking of the EFL Championship table and picking a favourite. There is a lot more to consider here, and only the most thorough researchers and the most knowledgeable players can come out with favourable results.

To become a prolific tipster, one first needs to possess a love for the sport. This one somehow goes hand in hand with knowing the history of it as well. Being familiar with past results is also valuable in making future predictions. Finally, you need to have a knack for it. Not every person is primed and capable of making top Championship betting tips. You have to be equally talented as well as resilient.

But talent is not going to get you far. Hard work, or in this case hard research, is what is needed. A combination of the two will enable you to know where and what to look for. After a while, you will develop a nose for spotting good Championship betting odds that represent value, which is what all prime bettors are looking for.

Moreover, you will become an expert in predicting both the individual matchups as well as the Championship outright winner. But patience is needed and it also requires a lot of practice.

How to Choose the Best Bookmaker for EFL Championship Betting

Finding the best Championship betting tips also requires you to know where to look. In this case, we mean which tipster’s profile to look at.

Since a lot of tips are posted during the day, and there are many different ones, it is normal for a newcomer to become confused about which tipster’s advice to take. But this platform has introduced a rating system just for the purpose of allowing you to pick the most suitable choice. You don’t have to spend a lot of time researching; you can easily look at a person’s profile and determine how good they actually are.

Look at their current record, their yield, win rate, predictions odds and profit. Remember, you are not choosing based on their personality; you are determining if they are the person who holds the best possible advice. You will also need to look at their recent form. As footballers, tipsters can have on and off periods. Be sure to check which tipster is hot and which one of them is on a string of positive results.

After taking all the information into account, it is still up to you whether you want to listen to them or not. You can always check with a few of them and see which one offers the best tip. At the same time, you can search for different markets, like individual matchups or the Championship promotion battle games. All in all, everything is transparent here and visible to all.
