AS Monaco comes in spectacular form for the matchup again PSG. They are seven games unbeaten, with five wins and two draws in that game span. Most recently, Monaco defeated Auxere by 3:2 at home and Clermont 2:0 away.
PSG is not playing as they are expected to perform. With all the stars in their team, everyone imagines them waltzing into the French title. But losses to Rennes (1:0) and Lens (3:1) proved that Christophe Galtier’s side is very much vulnerable.
Luckily, the Parisians got some confidence back with two straight wins. They won against Montpellier 3:1 away and defeated Toulouse 2:1 at home. Galtier’s is playing against his former club and it is going to be interesting how he performs against them.
With 31 games behind them, PSG is the more successful side with 15 wins as opposed to the seven that Monaco has. Nine games ended without a winner.
Their first encounter of the season ended in a 1:1 draw. But the season before, each club got one win, with the game played at Parc des Princes going 2:0 for the home team.
PSG is still the favourite in this one, but only at 2.27 odds. This sounds pretty good as there are certainly going to do their best not to drop more points. On the other hand, Monaco’s odds stand at 3.20 and a draw is set at 3.50.
Almost every Monaco vs PSG predictions say Yes on Both Teams to Score, but at 1.60 odds you might be asking yourself – Is it really worth it? For that reason, over 2.25 Goals at 2.75 sound much nicer.
PSG is facing some injuries to a lot of players, so it is going to be difficult for Galtier to devise a good squad for this matchup.
