At 24 years of age, Nasrat has already had five fights in the world’s biggest MMA promotion. Now, he will make his octagon walk for the sixth time when he faces undefeated Alex Munoz.
Haqparast is 3-2 in the UFC. In his last fight, he lost in devastating fashion against Drew Dober, being knocked out in only one minute and ten seconds. That was in January. Now, Haqparast is looking to get back in the win column, and a win over undefeated Alex Munoz could fuel his fire in a big way.
Haqparast is mostly a striker with extremely fast hands. He lands about 5.25 significant strikes every minute on average and has an unusually high striking defense of 74% on top of that. Nasrat is 5’10” with a reach of 72”. He fights in a southpaw stance.
UFC debutant Alex Munoz is 6-0 in his pro career. He last fought in October of 2019, winning a unanimous decision over Troy Lamson in a smaller MMA promotion. Munoz fights out of Dallas, Texas, and is a part of Team Alpha Male.
Alex surrenders one inch in height to Haqparast, and five years in age. He has gone to a decision in his last three fights.
While Munoz has an undefeated record to boast about, a lack of tough competition faced could spell trouble for the 30-year old debutant. Standing across from him in the octagon will be a game Haqparast fighting with a sense of urgency to get a win after his last disappointing loss. Munoz might be able to hang in there for a round or two, but the output and constant pressure along with kicks should be enough to earn Nasrat the unanimous victory here. In his last fight, Munoz struggled in a three-round battle. Now, he’s up in the big leagues, and you gotta believe he somehow bettered his game in every way if believe he wins this fight over Haqparast. This is a good fight for Nasrat which is why I see him winning here.
