MLB World Series Game 5 Same-Game Parlay: 3.70 Bet Backing Rangers to Win it All
IMAGO / USA TODAY Network Arizona Republic Texas Rangers designated hitter Mitch Garver (18) congratulates second baseman Marcus Semien (2) after a three-run home run.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs Texas Rangers Same Game Parlay, Opta Stats, Player Props

Our resident baseball expert Ej Garr put his money where his mouth is on Tuesday night, as he banged out a sweet 3-selection acca that fed our readers the cash for Game 4 of the World Series.

The Texas Rangers have their eyes on a big piece of hardware that will be in the building because they are now in a position to win the 2023 World Series. Up 3 – 1, Texas has bashed their way to be in this enviable position, but that does add pressure on them as well.

It is not as easy as it sounds to win a clinching game for such a big prize, and the Diamondbacks have shown that they can win big games like these; Game 7 in Philadelphia showed us that!

Let’s see what Ej has on the plate for Game 5 of the World Series, and might this be the last MLB article of 2023? If Texas wins, it will be, so let’s lace them up and hit the field!

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS VS TEXAS RANGERS SAME GAME PARLAY: RANGERS ON THE VERGE OF A TITLE

THE 2023 WORLD SERIES WILL END ON WEDNESDAY IN ARIZONA

We are back to where we started in the World Series in a sense, as the Game 1 starting pitchers are set to battle again for Game 5 on Wednesday night. Nate Eovaldi and Zac Gallen started the first game of this year’s Fall Classic, and now they might be participating in the final game of the World Series too!

Texas is now in a position to not just go home for what would have been a potential Game 6 and/or 7, but they might be headed back to the Lone Star State with a heavy piece of hardware to take on the flight home instead!

Eovaldi has made 5 starts in this year’s MLB postseason, and he has accumulated 30 ⅔ innings with a 3.52 ERA along with a stellar 36 to 5 K to BB ratio.

Gallen has also made 5 postseason starts, and his stats are not as impressive, to say the least. Gallen has hurled 26 ⅓ IP with a 5.27 ERA but his 18 to 13 K to BB ratio isn’t all that stout for the ace of the Snakes’ staff.

Another stat to mention… Every team that has carried a 3 – 1 lead into Game 5 of the World Series has won that game 84% of the time. I like it!

Adolis Garcia and Max Scherzer will not be a part of the rest of the World Series, and the loss of Garcia didn’t seem to hurt the Texas offense in Game 4. An oblique injury will keep Garcia out of the Rangers’ lineup for the rest of the series, and we just saw Max Scherzer leave Game 3 with a back strain that now ends his season.

Regardless of that, You can see above where my mindset is at to arrive at this 4-game acca for Game 5 of the World Series.

Ketel Marte to Record 1+ Hit

Ketel Marte is a hit machine in the postseason, and we have no reason to stop playing his chances of picking up one hit in Game 5. As I said in my Game 4 article, I expect Marte to be at the top of the order again on Wednesday night, and he didn’t waste a second of our time last night. The dude just slapped a hit right out of the gate in Game 4, so I hope his streak continues, win or lose the World Series.

Corey Seager to Record 1+ Hit

Corey Seager swings a mean bat, and he will probably connect for another dinger in the desert in Game 5. We don’t need that much of an extreme, but let me mention that the Odds of him hitting a home run tonight are sitting at 4.40! That’s almost as good as this entire same-game parlay odds, so don’t be shy!!

Marcus Semien to Record 1+ Hit

Marcus Semien is also going to be at the top of the Rangers’ batting order, and all he did in Game 4 was smash in 5 RBI and win the Big Papi T-Shirt in the post-game. Jeter, Arod, and Papi had Simien on the post-game show, and in case you aren’t following the World Series, Papi hands out a shirt to whom he considers the MVP of the given game that was just played that night.

Let Marcus step right up and step right into your same-game parlay for Game 5 of the World Series between Texas and Arizona on Wednesday night!
