CHARLOTTE HORNETS VS MILWAUKEE BUCKS

Giannis Antetokounmpo has cleared this line in eight of his last 10 games against Charlotte. The Hornets are the league’s worst defence, and they play at a high pace, making them the ideal opponent for players to put up big box scores.
While Giannis’ assist numbers have dropped with the arrival of Damian Lillard, Charlotte will have to help on his drives, which will lead to plenty of dimes. Only two teams concede more assists per game than the Hornets.
This line might seem a little high given Antetokounmpo’s averages. And yes, he’s listed as questionable, but his track record against these Hornets suggests he can clear this if he gets to 30 minutes.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS VS SACRAMENTO KINGS

After earning an All-NBA nod last season, De’Aaron Fox has been in scorching offensive form to start 2023-24. Fox is averaging 30 points per game, which even includes a three-for-18 effort in his first appearance of the campaign.
Fox’s last four games have seen him put up 39, 37, 28 and 28 points. Those two 28-point efforts came against the Lakers and Cavaliers, who are much better defences than the Spurs. San Antonio is 29th in defensive rating and fourth in pace. Like Charlotte, they are an ideal opponent to bet overs against.
The Spurs have the worst shot quality on the year. They are bottom-10 in opponent three-point rate, which is an area Fox has improved markedly. This game will be played at a high pace – Fox is great value to get into the thirties in scoring (it’s worth considering 2.00 on Fox to score 30+ points at Bet365).
NEW ORLEANS PELICANS VS DENVER NUGGETS

The Pelicans are 27th in rebounding rate. Only two teams concede more rebounds per game. The tandem of Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas has not been anywhere near as effective on the boards as their reputations would suggest, plus they are without Larry Nance Jr.’s size off the bench.
Aaron Gordon is not only averaging seven rebounds per game – he’s also gone over this line in five of his last six, including grabbing 12 boards against these Pelicans only 11 days ago.
Over that span, Gordon averages 9.3 rebounds per game, which is good for joint 17th in the Association. His rebounding rate over these six games is better than Nikola Vucevic and, notably, Zion Williamson. We’d take this over even if the line moves to 7.5.
