Emma Navarro entered this tournament as the 3-seed at Bad Homburg and has reached the semifinal for the second consecutive campaign. Navarro was at this stage a year ago but failed to get past Kat Siniakova so she gets another crack today against Shnaider.

Navarro is listed as the favorite but the first thing that came to mind was my favorite prop bet to put on the board. All I see in my mind is each woman taking a set and we all get to watch a 3-set thriller.

Diana Shnaider might be ranked 47th in the world but she is still only 20 years old with a lifetime of tennis left to play. She was listed as a +150 underdog against Badosa in the quarterfinal, and she pulled off the upset in straight sets.

Shnaider was only broken twice while smashing out 4 aces against Badosa, and not only did she break the Spaniard 4 times but the second set tie-break showed us all a lot. Badosa is not the player she used to be, but Shnaider was in complete control of the tie-break to take the quarterfinal dub.

I expect a solid effort from both of these ladies today, and we will be going the distance because two sets won’t be enough. The Over 2.5 Sets prop at +149 holds all the value to end the week, and I am making up for Boulter’s loss yesterday at Eastbourne which was a bit of a shocker.
