With four quarterfinal matches set for Friday at Le Open de Limoges, Lucky Loser Manon Leonard will take on Elsa Jacquemot with a spot in the semifinal on the line.
France will have at least one representative in the semis as compatriots square off for the second time this year. Jacquemot is a considerable favorite to reach the next stage although Leonard escaped with a three-set victory in the first meeting this season.
EJ Garr’s prediction is for Manon Leonard vs. Elsa Jacquemot calls for the underdog to be competitive so check out his tip with -108 odds.

Odds as of 7:00 am UK Time on December 13, 2024. Odds may now differ.
Lucky Loser Manon Leonard has taken advantage of the second opportunity to compete at Le Open de Limoges. Leonard also knows she can beat Elsa Jacquemot since she pulled it off in February at the WTA75 ITF Grenoble event.
I have plenty of betting options for this quarterfinal affair and I will start with the Over 9.5 Games at -107 for the Lucky Loser. Manon might be a heavy underdog with Jacquemot favored at -400 but two French natives on the same court will be exciting to see play out.
Leonard was a +170 underdog against Patricia Tig in qualifying and after that loss, the Lucky Loser was expected to lose again in the first round against Selena Janicjevic. At +120, Leonard surprised Janicjevic with a straight-sets upset, and Tamara Korpastch was slated to manhandle the 23-year-old French native out of the event.
Korpastch upset Alexandrova in the first round and then flopped hard against Leonard at -350 without winning a set in the second round.
Elsa Jacquemot played better than I anticipated on Thursday. I thought Zakharova would at least win a set and that never came close to happening. Jacquemot pounded Zakharova into the ground after removing Anastasia Tikhonova from the event in the first round.
I am putting some faith in Leonard to show up and fight so the +5 handicap is play #2 for me. The Over 19.5 total has my attention too at -115 so make it a trio of bets to end the week.
Manon Leonard was 0 – 6 before the two wins this week at Le Open de Limoges. The French native is ranked 228th on the WTA Tour and has a 41 – 25 record on hard courts this season,
Leonard has a 6 – 23 record on clay and has never won a match on grass in one attempt.
Elsa Jacquemot is 4 – 6 in the last 10 outings and will compete in doubles after this match with partner Margaux Rouvroy.
Jacquemot is 18 – 15 on hard courts this year with a 36 – 33 record in 2024
Manon Leonard and Elsa Jacquemot met on February 10th this year and the former won the game in three sets.
The winner of this affair will face Celine Naef or Erika Andreeva in the semifinals of le Open de Limoges. I will have a prediction for that quarterfinal match today.
