Mirra Andreeva vs Elina Svitolina Prediction, Picks, Odds, H2H, Stats - 3/13/25

A spot in the semifinals at the BNP Paribas Open is at stake when Mirra Andreeva takes on Elina Svitolina on Thursday at Indian Wells.
Svitolina has been pushed to three sets from two of her three victories this week, and the upset win over Jessica Pegula in the fourth round has the Ukrainian 3 – 0 against American opponents.
Mirra Andreeva carries a 9-game win streak into the quarterfinals, and the line setters expect the 17-year-old to succeed again with odds at -250 to advance.
EJ Garr’s prediction for Mirra Andreeva vs Elina Svitolina features odds at -116, which you can find below.

Mirra Andreeva vs Elina Svitolina WTA BNP Paribas Open Prediction: A Streak Too Tough To Fade
- Prediction: Mirra Andreeva -3.5 Games
- Best Odds: -116
- Bookmaker: Pinnacle
- Stakes: 3/10
Odds as of 7:00 am UK Time on March 13, 2025. Odds may now differ.
Does Mirra Andreeva even know that she is only 17, and shouldn’t be handling everyone as easily as she is doing this season? Whether she realizes what she is doing or not, Mirra Andreeva is doing things this year that are far above expectations, and the 9-game win streak doesn’t seem close to ending soon.
No disrespect to Svitolina, but Andreeva has her head down, her focus set, has all the confidence in the world right now, and that is too tough for me to fade.
I will usually take the underdog before laying multiple games, but -3.5 isn’t a line that intimidates me enough to keep away from the offer.
Svitolina has been tough to figure out this season because the Ukrainian has shown up in big matches, but has produced disappointing efforts against Clara Tauson and Anna Blinkova. Avenging the loss to Jess Pegula in Doha is undoubtedly a nice win for Svitolina, especially after dropping the first set and having to take the final two frames to advance to the quarters of this WTA1000 event in California.
BetMGM is listed Andreeva to win the first set at -220, and the second frame at -220. Although they have Svitolina to win a set at -150? How is that going to work? Last I checked, there won’t be a third set for Svitolina to win if Andreeva wins the first two, HA!
Pinnacle is posting -165 odds for less than 2.5 sets, yet Bet365 offers +115 for Andreeva to win this match in straight sets. My call is 7 – 5, 6 – 4, toward an Andreeva sweep, so either play the -3.5 with marginal juice, or take advantage of plus-money with Bet365 on the 2 – 0 Correct Score prop.
MIRRA ANDREEVA RECENT FORM
Mirra Andreeva is 9 – 0 after 6 wins in Dubai and 3 wins this week at Indian Wells, and has a shiny trophy for taking the tournament by storm in the UAE.
Andreeva defeated Elena Rybakina on Tuesday in the second straight event the two have met, and a win over Iga Swiatek in Dubai was another big win for the 17-year-old International.
Andreeva is 16 – 3 in 2025 and ranked 11th to start the week, but a top-10 appearance is only days away!
ELINA SVITOLINA RECENT FORM
Elina Svitolina will probably avoid shaking hands with Mirra Andreeva before the match, which stinks because … we know why, and it stinks! It has nothing to do with sportsmanship, so let that be put to rest.
The crowd will be a mixed bag of supporters who also hate what is happening in Eastern Europe, but the two have gotten great crowds and big cheers this week.
Andreeva respects Svitolina’s experience and hopes her coaching staff can give her enough to find a 10 consecutive win, with a reward being a trip to the semifinals at Indian Wells.
Svitolina is ranked 23rd on the WTA Tour and has a 9 – 4 record to begin the 2025 campaign.
ANDREEVA VS SVITOLINA HTH – STAT OF THE MATCH
Mirra Andreeva and Elina Svitolina are meeting for the first time today at Indian Wells.
The winner of this match will face Iga Swiatek or Qinwen Zheng in the semifinals of the BNP Paribas Open.
