Tough result on Tuesday’s selection, as Alexander Shevchenko was just far too poor in the prolonged rallies he needed to dominate to beat Antoine Bellier.
Onto Thursday, where we’ll look to get back on track by staking out a position in the match between Alex de Minaur and J.J. Wolf in Stockholm.

A big test coming on Thursday for the American, who looks to continue his strong play indoors, after reaching the final (though he lost in relatively straightforward fashion to Felix Auger Aliassime) in Florence last week.
It won’t be easy, as his tendency to produce a high dose of unforced errors could be exploited by the ever-consistent Australian.
With one of the best movement and defence combinations on the ATP Tour, de Minaur has been a mainstay inside the world’s top-25 players.
His best results have also tended to come on quicker courts in the past. We’ve written about this same kind of phenomenon with American Frances Tiafoe, as de Minaur’s serve and forehand become much tougher to return and break down thanks to conditions speeding things up, while he has a significant advantage against most opponents when it comes to returning and athleticism.
Going up against a power-centric player, he’ll need to utilise that advantage, and that should come in handy, especially playing against someone who tends to hit errors as rallies get prolonged.
I’ll happily back de Minaur here at just a 3.5-game handicap, as I have him in my bracket going all the way through to the final.
