Arsenal only have themselves to blame after missing out on the Champions League to north London rivals Tottenham. A late-season slump showed the Gunners’ cracks and it is evident several elements are lacking in their squad.

Regardless, Arsenal are back in Europe and we can expect a couple of signings from Mikel Arteta and company. We will take a look at Arsenal’s transfer odds, and the players who have the best transfer odds for the club.

What Players Should Arsenal Sign This Summer?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left for Barcelona in January while Alexandre Lacazette called it quits to his time at Arsenal last week, leaving an apparent need for striking reinforcements.

Arsenal were expected to sign at least two forwards this summer but the club chose to renew their faith with young Eddie Nketiah and a new improved long-term deal is expected to be announced soon.

Regardless, the Gunners will still move for at least one attacking name and club director Edu has promised fans two marquee signings this summer. Arsenal will also need a central midfielder as well as a backup left-back option to Kieran Tierney after Nuno Tavares failed to impress.

Top 5 Players to Sign For Arsenal Transfer Odds

According to bookmakers, here are the players with the best odds to join Arsenal next season:

  • Gabriel Jesus
  • Ruben Neves
  • Youri Tielemans
  • Oleksandr Zinchenko
  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin

All odds quoted are the best odds available as at 10:00 on June 8th 2022. Odds may now differ.

GABRIEL JESUS TO ARSENAL TRANSFER ODDS

Arsenal will definitely sign a forward this summer and Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates. The 25-year-old has reportedly agreed on personal terms but Arsenal and City are still some way apart in terms of valuation for the player.

Jesus’ versatility will see him fit properly under Arteta, meaning he can be deployed in several formations. To go with, the Gunners have a Brazilian contingent of their own in Gabriel Magalhães and Gabriel Martinelli. Ironically, that will make him the third ‘Gabriel’ at Arsenal.

Gabriel Jesus is currently at odds 1.50 to sign with Arsenal

Youri Tielemans to Arsenal Transfer Odds

Thomas Partey’s injury struggles mean Arsenal must sign one or two midfielders as well, especially with more games to come after a return to Europe. Leicester City’s Tielemans is the Gunners’ top midfield target and will reportedly fancy a move to a ‘top’ side within England.

Tielemans has recently expressed his desire to play in the Champions League but Arsenal can at least offer him something close in the Europa League. Other sides are also interested in the Belgian but Arsenal firmly lead the way.

Youri Tielemans is currently at odds 1.72 to sign with Arsenal

Ruben Neves to Arsenal Transfer Odds

While Tielemans is Arsenal’s top midfield target, Ruben Neves is next on the list. The Wolves man has impressed since his side’s return to the Premier League in 2018. The 25-year-old has been more than a regular, missing only four games since that time.

However, Neves will not come cheap and should be considerably more expensive than Tielemans. To go with, Arsenal will also have to ward off competition from Manchester United who are leading the race for his signature.

Ruben Neves is currently at odds 4.00 to sign with Arsenal

Oleksandr Zinchenko to Arsenal Transfer Odds

If one Manchester City player wasn’t enough, Arsenal are going for two. Over to defence, left-back is a major issue and Zinchenko is the man Arteta has identified to come in as a backup/cover for Kieran Tierney.

Like Jesus, Arteta also has a good relationship with Zinchenko, having worked with him while at Manchester City. The Ukrainian is also versatile and can play in midfield effectively when needed. He is reportedly in search of regular game time and he could yet get that with the Gunners.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is currently at odds 1.98 to sign with Arsenal

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Arsenal Transfer Odds

The Everton star was among Arsenal’s top forward choices for the summer before Gabriel Jesus came into the picture.  The Toffees’ need for funds might force them to sell one of their top names and Calvert-Lewin could definitely be a profitable option.

In the event that Arsenal go on to sign Gabriel Jesus though, it is rather unlikely they will need Calvert-Lewin or another forward option.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is currently at odds 3.00 to sign with Arsenal
