Wolves vs Brighton: The Seagulls’ Soaring Corner Count
England, Premier League, Saturday, 10th May, 15:00 (UK)
Wolves had won six consecutive matches before being beaten at the Etihad last weekend. Vitor Pereira has done very well since taking over at the club in December. Attention will soon shift to the summer window, but there have been promising signs for the Old Gold in the second half of the campaign.
Brighton are still in the hunt for a European place. They are currently 10th, level on points with 9th place Brentford. Their form must improve if they are to secure a place in the Europa Conference League. The Seagulls have won just one of their last seven in the league.
Over the course of the season, Wolves have won 3.41 corners per game at home and conceded 5.82. They have had more corners than their opponents in just four of their 17 league games at Molineux.
The Seagulls have had more corners than their opponents in their last five away matches, which includes a trip to face Manchester City, who have conceded the second fewest corners in the division. Brighton have also had more corners than Wolves in the last four head-to-heads.
- Selection: Brighton Most Corners (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 1.90
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 8/10
Fulham vs Everton: Fewer Shots When the Toffees are Involved
England, Premier League, Saturday, 10th May, 15:00 (UK)
Fulham are still in the mix for European qualification despite a poor run of form. Their only win in their last four matches came against Southampton. Marco Silva’s side now find themselves in the bottom half of the Premier League, but they are just two points off 8th.
Everton have also struggled of late. They have managed to win just one of their last 10 matches. Over that period, they have scored just 0.9 goals per game and conceded 1.2. David Moyes will be keen to get to the summer and bring in some reinforcements.
The Cottagers’ matches have seen the fourth-fewest shots in the Premier League with an average of 24.69. That’s just above the line of 23.5 set by the bookmakers here. However, there were just 19 shots in their most recent home match against Chelsea.
Shots have been at a premium in the Toffees’ matches, particularly since Moyes took over. Since the managerial change, Everton league matches have seen an average of 21.19 shots. There have been 23 shots or fewer in their last eight games.
- Selection: Under 23.5 Shots In The Match (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 1.83
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 8/10
Bournemouth vs Aston Villa: The Cherries to Sweeten the Villains Throw Numbers
England, Premier League, Saturday, 10th May, 17:30 (UK)
Bournemouth beat Arsenal last weekend. They are now enjoying a run of five matches unbeaten. The return to form has seen them climb to 8th in the Premier League, which would be enough to secure European football for next season.
Aston Villa are also on course to qualify for Europe, but they have their sights set on the Champions League. The Villains face an uphill battle to return to the competition they performed so well in this season. They come into this match three points behind Chelsea, who occupy 5th place.
The Cherries’ matches have seen the most throws in the Premier League, with an average of 39.8. There have been 32 throws or more in seven of their eight home games in 2025. Those matches have seen 41.13 throws on average.
The Villains’ matches see the fewest number of throws in the division. However, that tends to go out the window when they go to the Vitality Stadium. There have been 33 throws or more in all three Premier League meetings between these sides at this ground, with an average of 41.33 per game.
- Selection: Over 31.5 Throws In The Match (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 1.83
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 8/10
Newcastle vs Chelsea: Champions League Crunch Clash
England, Premier League, Sunday, 11th May, 12:00 (UK)
This is one of the weekend’s more intriguing clashes. These teams are level on 63 points, and both would qualify for the Champions League as it stands. However, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa are hot on their tails. The Magpies have won their last five league games at St. James’s Park and would love another victory here.
Chelsea are also enjoying a winning run. They beat Liverpool at Anfield last weekend, making it three consecutive victories in the Premier League. Enso Maresca’s side now need to finish the season strongly to ensure they regain their place amongst Europe’s elite.
This clash should see a decent amount of throws. Newcastle’s home matches have seen an average of 34.65, well above the line of 31.5 set by the bookmaker. There have been 32 throws or more in all eight of their home Premier League matches in 2025.
The Blues’ away games have seen 30.24 throws on average. Nevertheless, they have faced Newcastle on two occasions this season, thanks to their EFL Cup meeting. Those matches saw 36 and 33 throws.
Nottingham Forest vs Leicester: The Foxes to Struggle at Forest
England, Premier League, Sunday, 11th May, 14:15 (UK)
Nottingham Forest looked to be cruising towards a Champions League place at one stage, but a slump in form at a crucial moment in the season means they have a fight on their hands. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently 6th. They know that winning their three remaining matches would be enough to finish in the top five, with Chelsea awaiting them on the final day of the season.
Leicester, along with the other two newly-promoted clubs, are already condemned to the Championship. The Foxes never really got going this season. Ruud Van Nistelrooy was unable to get a tune from his players. The Dutchman is expected to lose his job at the end of the season.
Forest racked up 20 shots as they beat Leicester 3-1 in the reverse fixture. Nuno’s men should get plenty here as they aim to get back on track. They are averaging just 12.29 shots per home game, but the magnitude of this game, coupled with a lacklustre away side, should mean they exceed that.
The Foxes conceded 20 shots in their last away game against Forest. In fact, this bet has won in their last four matches on the road.
- Selection: Over 17.5 Shots For Nottingham Forest (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 1.80
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 8/10
Liverpool vs Arsenal: Celebratory Mood at Anfield
England, Premier League, Sunday, 11th May, 16:30 (UK)
Liverpool secured the title early, so the party will continue when they take on Arsenal at Anfield. Arne Slot’s side were beaten at Stamford Bridge last weekend. The Reds’ boss will want his side to return to winning ways here.
Giving Liverpool a guard of honour will round of a miserable week for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta’s side were dumped out of the Champions League by PSG, ensuring yet another trophyless season. The Gunners still need points to ensure their place in the top five, so expect them to turn up here.
The home side should show plenty of attacking intent with the jeopardy gone from their season. Liverpool are averaging 16.82 shots per game at Anfield this season, so over 12.5 appeals. This bet has won in 15 of their 17 Premier League home matches.
Arsenal don’t concede a great deal of shots. Their opponents in away matches have made an average of 10.76 per game. However, tired legs could be an issue after their trip to Paris. The Gunners have also conceded 13 shots or more on their last 10 visits to Anfield.
- Selection: Over 12.5 Shots For Liverpool (TRACKED BET)
- Best Odds: 1.83
- Bookmaker: bet365
- Stake: 8/10
