Two of the greatest clubs in world football meet for the second time this season. The pressure is on FC Barcelona to earn maximum points here but Bayern Munich are yet to drop a point this campaign. Here at bettingexpert News, we have constructed a bet builder for this mammoth clash.

It’s all or nothing for Xavi and Barcelona, results in the Champions League haven’t been up to standard. Qualifying for the knockouts is out of their own hands as Inter occupy 2nd spot behind the German club.
The reverse clash maybe didn’t give the full picture of how the 90 minutes went. Julian Nagelsmann’s men were well up against it for the entirety of the first half despite not seeing an opener. Lucas Hernandez and Leroy Sane’s quickfire goals minutes after the break put the game to bed.
Bayern have now won all of the previous five H2H matches which doesn’t give a good reading if you’re a Barca fan. They do, however, come into this as favourites priced at 2.35 to record a much-needed win.
Bayern legend, Robert Lewandowksi is as big as 1.76 to score against his former employers with Sadio Mane the shortest price to score for the group leaders at 3.00. Goals are certainly expected here given the price of the markets. Over 3.50 goals is around the even money mark with a handful of sites.
Firstly, Robert Lewandowksi hasn’t slowed down since his move from Bayern over the summer. The Pole has had an incredible 22 shots in just four Champions League matches so far with 11 of those hitting the target.
With Barca in desperate need of a victory they’ll be putting plenty of pressure on the German club’s back line. This should lead to plenty of shots for Lewandowski with a handful hopefully hitting the target.
Overall, Robert Lewandowski has made 15 appearances for the Catalan club and has hit the target 37 times. The stats are certainly supporting us with this selection which will be one of three parts within this bet builder.
One price that stood out was involving Pedri, the 19-year-old is 1.83 to have just one shot on Wednesday night. This seems a little steep given he has six in total in this competition and two in the reverse fixture.
The Spanish midfielder is priced the exact same for 2+ shots on other sites so there is value to be had here, the emphasis on the hosts needing a result provides even more of a reason to get onside with individual player attempts.
With a game as important as this, a card angle also seems the sensible way to tackle this game. Barcelona have been cautioned in three games from four in the Champions League this season. The exception was against Plzen in gameweek one in a match dominated by Xavi’s side.
With the odds coming in at 4.33 for this bet, I believe it has every possible chance of going the distance in Barcelona in what is their biggest game of the season so far.
Bet Builder odds: 4.33
