The German international has netted three goals in three matches. He has benefitted from the presence of Harry Kane in the early stages of this season. The striker has exceptional playmaking ability and has a tendency to find pockets of space and play passes to Bayern’s mercurial wide players.

Sane has started on the right in Bayern’s three matches so far. He scored the equaliser in their last win and has managed at least three shots in all of his Bundesliga matches, with an average of 3.3 per game. Last season, the winger averaged 35 shots per 90 minutes.

Leverkusen also rely on their creativity in the wide areas, so Sane should get a couple of opportunities to hurt Alonso’s side on the counter when Bayern win the ball back.
