There’s an abundance of games from all over the globe on Sunday, three of which feature in our BTTS Acca Tips this week.

Both teams to score bets are on the agenda this week, with bets coming from Liverpool to Germany via Italy. Three BTTS Acca Tips selections make up a 4.97 treble.

Acca odds: 4.97

Liverpool vs Aston Villa: Goals, goals and more goals

England Premier League, Sunday 3rd September, 14:00

Liverpool host Aston Villa in what is set to be an intriguing and entertaining game at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s side has had a strong start to the season. An end-to-end battle at Stamford Bridge ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams exploiting the other’s lack of holding midfielders. This was followed up by a 3-1 home win over Bournemouth, in which Liverpool went behind early on, before a dramatic 2-1 win away at Newcastle.

Despite going down to ten men after 28 minutes when already 1-0 down, a late Darwin Nunez brace saw the Reds prevail. It was a game typical of Liverpool in recent years: relentless and high-octane.

That is also how you’d describe Aston Villa under Unai Emery, with the Villains averaging nearly two points per game under the Spaniard. The 51-year-old favours a very high line, often leading to entertaining games with goals galore.

This has been evident this season, with a 5-1 defeat at Newcastle before a 4-0 win at home to Everton, and a 3-1 win at Burnley. An attack containing the likes of Moussa Diaby and Ollie Watkins is bound to bring goals. At the same time, the ridiculously high line deployed by Emery also sees them concede a fair few chances.

With both teams vulnerable at the back and potent in attack, I can’t see anything besides BTTS at Anfield on Sunday.

Lecce vs Salernitana: No great wall of Lecce

Italy Serie A, Sunday 3rd September, 19:45

Lecce and Salernitana were the two sides who finished in the two positions just above the relegation zone, and they meet on Sunday at the Stadio Via Del Mare.

Under the new stewardship of German-born manager Roberto D’Aversa, Lecce have had a solid start to the season, winning one and drawing one of their opening two league games.

The season opener at home to Lazio was a classic, with the Giallorossi scoring two late goals to claim a significant scalp. Their attacking intent was clear this game, recording 23 shots. They then drew 2-2 at Fiorentina after trailing 2-0 at halftime.

Pontus Almqvist and Lameck Banda, in particular, have impressed, with new Montenegrin striker Nikola Krstovic scoring off the bench on his debut after arriving from Slovakian side Dun Streda, where he scored 18 goals last season.

Games involving DAversa-managed teams are typically entertaining, with his Sampdoria side seeing an average of 3.2 goals scored in their 24 matches under the 48-year-old.

Salernitana have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the season, drawing both games so far. A 2-2 draw at Roma and a 1-1 draw at home to Udinese see the southwestern side sitting in a respectable 12th position. Managed by legendary Portugal midfielder Paulo Sousa, Salernitana possesses an array of impressive attacking options such as veteran winger Antonio Candreva and clinical striker Boulaye Dia, who will be hoping to add to last season’s 16 goals.

With both teams seeing a 100% record this season for BTTS (albeit in a small sample), 1.95 presents good value for both teams to find the net.

Union Berlin vs RB Leipzig: Goal Gluttonous Germans

Germany, Bundesliga, Sunday 3rd September, 16:30 (UK)

The final selection of the BTTS Acca Tips treble comes from Germany’s capital, as peripheral underdogs Union Berlin host the infamous RB Leipzig.

Union Berlin defied the odds last season by qualifying for the Champions League. This monumental feat was primarily due to their impressive home record, with Die Eisernen boasting the third-best home record in the league, recording 39 points in 17 games.

The start of this season has carried on last campaign’s momentum, with back-to-back 4-1 wins seeing Urs Fischer’s side top the league. However, they have been outperformed on xG in both games, suggesting their defence isn’t as watertight as last season.

Going forward, Kevin Behrens has scored four in two starts, while Marauding wingback Robin Gosens scored a brace on his first start.

RB Leipzig have started the season in expectedly entertaining fashion, losing 3-2 at Bayer Leverkusen before dismantling Stuttgart 5-1. Leipzig have had an interesting window, losing key attackers in Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai, and defender Josko Gvardiol.

However, as ever, the recruitment has been shrewd, with Xavi Simons, Benjamin Sesko, Nicolas Seiwald, Christopher Baumgartner, Castello Lukeba, and Lois Openda replacing the departed superstars. Openda specifically has impressed with two goals in two league starts.

The two league leaders for goals go head-to-head, and I am happy to take a punt on goals for the BTTS Acca Tips article at the quoted prices.
