The final weekend in the Bundesliga sees all 18 teams in action at 14:30 on Saturday afternoon, plenty of teams have nothing to play for but there are a handful of clubs entering the final day with huge results needed. I’ve selected my three favourite bets for bettingexpert News.

Bielefeld v RB Leipzig Best Bet

Sat, May 14th, 14:30 (UK Time)

RB Leipzig travel to Bielefeld needing just a point to secure Champions League football for the 2022/2023 campaign, the hosts need a massive goal swing going in their favour if they were to avoid the drop.

Domenico Tedesco’s side are as short as 1.25 to win the match but backing against a whole load of goals could be the angle to look towards. RB Leipzig to finish the season with three points and under five goals to be scored in the match is available at a price of 1.83.

Bielefeld have lost nine of the last 12 in the German Bundesliga and on each occasion has seen this bet land against them. On average there has been just 2.25 goals per 90 in Arminia Bielefeld’s home matches with 2.94 per game on Leipzig’s travels.

With a guaranteed place in next season’s Champions League group stage, the visitors should be wanting to wrap the season up with a win, all six of their recent victories in all competitions have seen this selection land.

  • Selection: Leipzig Win / Under 4.50 Goals
  • Best Odds: 1.83 (Bet 365)
  • Stakes: 8/10

Bayer Leverkusen v Freiburg Best Bet

Sat, May 14th, 14:30 (UK Time)

The season is not quite over for Freiburg as the hunt for a Champions League spot is still on as they visit Bayer Leverkusen. Christian Streich’s side need a win and will need to hope that Leipzig have a shocker and lose on the road.

The visitors have scored 13 times in the last five Bundesliga matches, scoring multiple times on four occasions. They are priced at 1.80 to score twice or more at the BayArena which could be worth a play given what’s at stake.

Bayer Leverkusen confirmed a 3rd place finish last weekend and have nothing to play for heading into the final day of the season which could benefit the Freiburg side who can finish in the top four for the first time since the 1994/1995 season.

It’s difficult to take much interest in the season-long stats and figures for this game given one side has everything to play for with the other playing with nothing on the line. Freiburg did take maximum points in the reverse fixture in December which ended in a 2-1 win.

Goals are expected in this game which is no surprise whatsoever, over 3.50 is trending at even money but I’m more than happy to get onside with the visitors as they look to finish the season in style.

  • Selection: Freiburg 2+ Goals
  • Best Odds: 1.80 (Bet 365)
  • Stakes: 8/10

Dortmund v Hertha Berlin Best Bet

Sat, May 14th, 14:30 (UK Time)

Borussia Dortmund have had a remarkable scoring season at the Signal Iduna Park, they have scored 50 times in just 16 matches averaging 3.13 goals per game. They host a Hertha side who have struggled defensively which has seen them concede the 2nd highest amount of goals in the division.

Hertha have conceded 36 times in 16 games on the road which won’t give them confidence heading to Dortmund who have registered the highest average at home in the top flight, even beating the German powerhouse, Bayern Munich.

In Dortmund’s 16 games at home this campaign they have scored inside the first 45 minutes on 13 different occasions. Their second half goal rates are even more impressive, 15/16 times has seen them find the back of the net after the break with the exception coming against Leipzig.

It was interesting to see that the price of Marko Rose’s men to score in both halves at 1.83 and is something I’m more than happy to get behind. The reverse fixture also saw Dortmund score on either side of half time despite Hertha taking all three points.

With Haaland on his way out of the club, he’ll want to put on a show in his very last game for the club and can easily score a handful of goals on his day. As always the stadium will be rocking which will provide an entertaining atmosphere and hopefully an even more entertaining fixture.

  • Selection: Dortmund Score Both Halves
  • Best Odds: 1.83 (Bet 365)
  • Stakes: 8/10

WHAT IS A BUNDESLIGA ACCA?

A  Bundesliga acca is an accumulator bet, a type of bet that consists of several selections across different matches that are combined together into one single bet. An acca usually. consists of at least four selections but many more can be included. There will be odds for the single bet as a whole which is calculated by multiplying the odds of all of the selections. A Bundesliga acca is one of the most popular ways to bet. This is the case because they can create potentially massive odds for a small stake. Many punters choose to create Bundesliga accas which is what we have created here. If one of these selections loses then the Bundesliga acca will lose. This type of bet needs every selection to win in order to succeed.
