The Bundesliga props acca tips are back after our first disappointing weekend of the season. The bets get underway on Friday night when Borussia Dortmund look to reach the top of the table, at least temporarily.

We’ve also covered a struggling Monchengladbach as they head to Bochum, while Bayer Leverkusen are looking to keep up their momentum at the same time on Saturday.

Acca odds: 6.50

Odds via bet365 as at 11:45, September 28th, 2023. Odds may now differ.

Hoffenheim vs Borussia Dortmund: A Chance for Dortmund to Hit the Summit

Germany, Bundesliga, Friday, September 29th, 19:30 (UK)

This match appeared in our Early Bird Both Teams to Score acca, so it’s easy to envisage plenty of shots here. Hoffenheim have won their last four league matches and sit a point above Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga table. However, they have lost five of their last six matches against Friday’s opponents, picking up just one point over that period.

Dortmund remain unbeaten after five matches, but they were bitterly disappointing in draws against Bochum and Heidenheim. The dropped points have left them in 5th place, but they are just two points off the lead with the Bundesliga table heavily congested.

Hoffenheim’s matches are averaging 32.6 shots per Bundesliga match so far this season. This is more than any other side and well above the average of 27.84 shots per match in the league overall.

Dortmund’s league matches so far are averaging 29.2 shots per game, and there have been 30 or more in both of their matches on the road. There were 38 shots the last time they visited this ground. That game finished 1-0 to Dortmund.

Bochum vs Borussia Monchengladbach: Defences are struggling at the Bochum

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, September 30th, 14:30 (UK)

Bochum have picked up three points in their opening five matches. They were embroiled in a relegation battle last season, and they look set for the same fight in this campaign. Thomas Letsch’s side were hammered 7-0 by Bayern last weekend and are still hunting for their first win.

Like Bochum, Borussia Monchengladbach are also searching for their inaugural win of the Bundesliga season. They’ve earned points in a 3-3 draw with Darmstadt and a 4-4 draw with Augsburg. Their defensive showings have left a lot to be desired, and there is plenty of cause for concern even at this stage.

There have been 32 shots or more in both of Bochum’s matches at Vonovia Ruhrstadion this season. The let set by 365 for match shots in this one is high, but there were 39 attempts the last time these teams locked horns.

Monchengladbach matches have seen an average of 31.4 shots. Their defensive issues have meant their opponents are racking up 18.4 attempts per game on average. They are the slight underdogs for this clash but should have plenty of shots against the relegation candidates.

Mainz vs Bayer Leverkusen: Alonso’s Team Chasing Pole Position

Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, September 30th, 14:30 (UK)

Mainz are bottom after five matches and have a goal difference of -10. Their only point came at home to Eintracht Frankfurt. The signs are ominous as they prepare to welcome one of the league’s best sides. They were beaten 3-0 in this fixture last season.

Bayer Leverkusen have emerged as a potential title contender in the early stages of this season. Xabi Alonso proved a revelation when he joined the club midway through last season, but now his team are feeling the benefits of a full pre-season under the Spaniard. They hammered Heidenheim last weekend and will be waiting to pounce should Bayern drop points against RB Leipzig.

Mainz haven’t conceded a lot of attempts so far. Their 10.2 shots conceded per game means they rank among the teams with the fewest conceded, but they are yet to take on a side with the quality of Leverkusen. They shipped 21 shots the last time they took on Alonso’s men.

Bayer Leverkusen have had the 2nd most shots in the Bundesliga, with an average of 18.8 per game. They have had at least 21 shots in four of their six matches since the league season began. The two games where they failed to reach the required mark for this bet to land were against Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.

  • Selection: Over 16.5 Shots For Leverkusen (tracked)
  • Best Odds: 1.90
  • Bookmaker: bet365
  • Stake: 7/10
