We’ve brought the Bundesliga props acca tips back this weekend as our expert Scott Thornton takes a look at three intriguing fixtures.
RB Leipzig blew the race for the league lead wide open last weekend, but they need to return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon. Hoffenheim have plenty to be optimistic about as they take on Bremen later that day. We end the weekend with Heidenheim vs Frankfurt.

RB Leipzig showcased their title credentials last weekend as they stormed into a two-goal lead against the reigning champions and title favourites, Bayern Munich. The draw saw them drop to 5th, but they are just three points behind the league leaders. It promises to be a compelling title rave in Germany, and Marco Rose’s side is amongst the contenders.
Bochum currently occupies the relegation playoff spot. They are still waiting for their first league win, and lacklustre defensive displays are definitely cause for concern. They were hammered 7-0 by Thomas Tuchel’s side in their last away match. They could be in danger of another battering here.
RB Leipzig had at least 17 shots in both matches against Bochum last season. Their shot counts have been lower in their recent home matches with Bayern and Augsburg, but they have displayed plenty of menace going forward.
Bochum have already visited Bayern and Stuttgart this season, two of the sides currently occupying the top five, along with Leipzig. They conceded 26 and 21 shots in those matches, so the line looks a little low for the home side here.
Germany, Bundesliga, Saturday, October 7th, 17:30 (UK)
Bremen are 12th in the Bundesliga, and a string of bad results could see them dragged towards the relegation zone. They finished 13th last season after being promoted from the second tier in the 2021/22 season. The fans would like to see improvement, but avoiding the drop would likely be deemed acceptable.
Hoffenheim have collected 12 points from their opening six games and are just two points behind the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. The team have been languishing in midtable in recent years, but the improvement this season has them hoping for a return to European football.
Werder’s matches have seen an average of 30 shots per game. The 17.83 average shots conceded in each outing is the 2nd most in the Bundesliga, and it should help our bet land here. There has been 27 shots or more in two of their three home matches. Their encounter with Mainz saw 26, narrowly missing the required mark.
Pellegrino Matarazzo has a growing reputation, with his side playing some scintillating attacking football. However, it does come at a cost defensively/ His sides’ matches are averaging 30.67 shots this season, the third most in the league.
Germany, Bundesliga, Sunday, October 8th, 18:30 (UK)
Eintracht Frankfurt finished 5th last season, but they have looked far more ordinary in this campaign. The loss of Kolo Muani to PSG cannot be overstated, as the team have lacked killer instinct in attack. However, they’ve suffered just one defeat and will be keen to return to winning ways this weekend.
They face a newly-promoted Heidenheim whose matches have been fiercely entertaining. They are level on points, with Frankfurt coming into this fixture having picked up wins over Werder Bremen and Union Berlin. Frank Schmidt’s side have conceded eight goals across their three away matches, so expect them to give Frankfurt chances.
Eintracht Frankfurt have the fewest attempts in the Bundesliga, so this betting angle is purely down to the opposition. They are five league matches without a win, and this is the perfect opportunity for them to gain a much-needed three points. Toppmoller’s men should
This bet has landed with ease in all three of Heidenheim’s matches on the road. Heidenheim are conceding the 4th most shots in the league with an average of 17.5 per game. This rises to 19.33 if we only include the data from their away matches.
