Scott Thornton has covered three big games in Germany for this week’s Bundesliga props acca.
First up, Heidenheim aim to move above Hoffenheim in the table when they meet on Saturday.
At the same time, Stuttgart and RB Leipzig have an important match with both clinging onto a space in the top for by a whisker. Later that day, Borussia Dortmund can take advantage of any dropped points when they host Bochum.
Acca odds: 6.02

This match was included in our both teams to score tips for the week and the data also suggest we should see plenty of shots. Hoffenheim have regressed in recent months and are in danger of slipping out of the top half here. They’ve picked up just two home wins in eight and the goals have been flying in.
Heidenheim were tipped for relegation by many. They will be ecstatic with the way the season has gone so far, but they aren’t home and dry just yet. They are unbeaten in five Bundesliga matches coming into this weekend.
Matches involving Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side average 29.89 shots per game; the 3rd most in the German top flight. This drops to 28.88 attempts in their home matches, but that is still comfortably above the league average of 27.43 shots.
Heindeheim have had fewer shots than their opponents in all of their away matches in the league. Those games average just under 26 shots per game, but their last meeting with Hoffenheim saw 36 shots.

Stuttgart have home advantage in what is a massive clash in Germany. These sides are level on points coming into this one, and Borussia Dortmund are hot on their tails in the race for a Champions League spot. Stuttgart have just one win in their last five matches, but their home form remains strong. They have suffered just one defeat in 11 matches in front of their own fans this season.
RB Leipzig took a lead against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, but eventually succumbed to a 3-2 defeat. They have a fantastic record against Stuttgart; winning nine of the last 11 head-to-heads and drawing the other two.
Stuttgart have been exceptional at home this season. However, they conceded 20 shots when they took on Leipzig earlier this season. They conceded 18 shots against Leverkusen in their final home match before the winter break. Stuttgart afforded Leipzig 28 attempts the last time they welcomed them to the MHPArena.
RB Leipzig have been averaging 15.5 shots per away game this season, so 14 looks very achievable. They’ve reached this mark in five of their eight matches on the road.

Borussia Dortmund have a huge chance to climb into the Champions League places this weekend. RB Leipzig and Stuttgart, the two sides above them, go toe-to-toe and Ein Terzic’s side host Bochum.
Bochum have earned a draw in their last two matches against Dortmund. They are currently 14th in the Bundesliga, but have a nine-point cushion between themselves and the relegation playoff. They’ve picked up just one away win this season and can expect to be under the cosh here.
Edin Terzic’s side have had the 4th most shots at home in the league this season with an average of 18.33. They’ve had 18 shots or more in four of their last five league matches at Signal Iduna Park; the exception came against Bayern Munich where they still managed 15 shots.
Bochum concede an average of 16.56 shots per away game this season. This is slightly below the required mark for this bet to land, but they have conceded 18 more in two of their last three head-to-heads with Dortmund.
