The group stage of the Nations League comes to an end on Monday and this means we have England vs Germany bet builder tips. Tips that will focus on whether the hosts can finally return to winning ways.
While they will also focus on the team that is considered England’s greatest nemesis and after Hansi Flick’s men were handed a defeat to Hungary on Friday, their hopes of progress have come to an end.

It’s one of the great fixtures in European international football as England face Germany at Wembley. This is the last fixture of the international break before these sets of players head back to their clubs to resume the regular season. It’s also the final international match these teams will play before the World Cup and what a way to end things.
With England having now suffered the ignominy of Nations League relegation, the optimism of supporters is at its lowest since Gareth Southgate took over as manager and with the World Cup lurking around the corner, this is the last thing the former defender needs.
With calls to remove Southgate only getting louder, the last thing England needs is another failure to win on Monday and although a change of managerial personnel is unlikely before Qatar, there is a sense that his head is already on the chopping block.
Something that is only feeding into the apathy regarding the Three Lions and such a feeling is not exclusive to the Nations League either. Now this doom and gloom is seeping into the World Cup as a whole.
Not only that, but England have failed to score a goal in open play during this Nations League cycle and when you consider the swathes of talent that is available for Southgate to call upon, this is a rather pertinent issue.
An issue that even if it is resolved on Monday, will make little difference to England’s overall performances in this competition and for many people, they will be glad this run of fixtures will soon come to a close.
With this upcoming fixture meaning very little to either side, it may mean the fringe players get an opportunity to shine at Wembley. Should this be the case, it may offer an opportunity for Tammy Abraham to start.
An opportunity that if given, he is unlikely to turn down and with 19 Serie A goals to his name since his move to Roma, he has had to play the role of patient understudy to Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
Although Kane is still within touching distance of Wayne Rooney’s scoring record, there is no need for him to be risked against Germany and after suffering a mouth injury against Italy on Friday, the rest will also be a rather welcome one.
Which is why I have plumped for Abraham to score anytime and for those who fancy this is a standalone bet, you can back this outcome at odds of 3.50. Then again, if you are feeling even bolder, you can back him to score first at 8.00.
A goal that will finally end England’s barren run in the opposition’s final third and although they will have something to cheer about, I am not sure they will have it all their own way against the Germans.
This is why I have also gone for the visitors to at least get a point from their trip to Wembley and when you add the Abraham goal to Germany in the double chance, the bet builder currently stands at odds of 8.50.
Bet Builder odds: 8.50
