I’ve gone for a Saturday Evening bet builder at odds of 9.00, as England play host to Italy and with revenge on the mind of Gareth Southgate and his players, there will certainly be a score to settle at Wembley.
Then again, any thoughts of revenge may have to be put to one side and with England offering a rather lacklustre start to this Nations League cycle, the focus will firmly be on returning to winning ways on Saturday.
Especially as England start this third round of fixtures while currently lying at the bottom of Group A3 and with a relegation trapdoor waiting to collect one of four nations, an element of jeopardy has already enveloped Gareth Southgate’s squad.
Jeopardy that will only be further increased when they face Italy at the weekend and although there is more than an element of transition to the Azzurri these days, they are never a side to be underestimated either.
Because although that transition has led to something of a mixed bag when it comes to results, they do at least come to Wembley off the back of a 2-1 win over Hungary and due to this, they currently find themselves at the top of a competitive four-team mini-league.

One that could be blown wide open if England can come out on top and with Harry Kane now reaching the 50 marker in terms of international goals, he will be ready to edge even closer to Wayne Rooney’s record.
With the Tottenham talisman now three away from levelling the current Derby County boss, he will fancy his chances of chipping away at him further and with goals in mind, backing the 28-year-old to score anytime at odds 2.60 is certainly worth your consideration.
Then again, backing the draw is also worth more than a glance before the weekend’s events and with two previous encounters to last summer’s European Championship final also ending in a stalemate, 3.50 for a fourth successive tie in 90 minutes looks too good to ignore.
Something that would be of obvious frustration to England and it may even dent their hopes of winning the World Cup in Qatar. This means that the current odds of 7.50 for them to rule the roost in Qatar at the end of the year may seem rather overpriced to mid-term punters.

Before Saturday’s clash at Wembley, I have gone for Italy to avoid defeat and Harry Kane to add another goal to his tally of 50. Add six or more corners into the mix and this is my weekend bet builder.

A bet builder is a kind of accumulator bet solely focussed on one match. A standard acca features multiple selections across different selections combined together into one bet. If one selection loses, the whole bet loses. A bet builder is similar but each selection is placed on the same match. Similar to the American prop bet, the bet builder goes into detail on a single match. Common selections include match outcome, total goals, cards, corners, and players to score.
