The final qualifying rounds for the Europa League conclude on Thursday, and there are still plenty of ties that are wide open. Second legs can often see trailing teams get desperate, and this can lead to some interesting angles on the matches.

Austria Wien have it all to do coming into the second leg. They were beaten 2-0 at home by Fenerbahce in the first leg, and they will need to attack from the outset to overturn the deficit. They were also reduced to 10 men in the first leg when Lucas Galvao was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Austria Wien had six corners in the first leg, and they are averaging 4.5 corners per game in their last 10 away matches in European competition. Fenerbahce opponents in their last 10 home matches are averaging just 3.3 corners per game, but the desperate situation should mean that the visitors commit men forward straight away.
Austria Wien had seven corners when they were eliminated from the Europa Conference league qualifiers last season, and they could hit a similar amount here.
The away side know they start the game needing two goals, and although they don’t possess the same quality as their opponents, they should cause problems and look to attack quite consistently. That’s why I’m looking at corners here.

Hearts lost the first leg 2-1 and they have it all to do in front of their own fans here. The home side know they need at least a goal in this one, and I expect both teams to create a whole host of chances.
The Scottish side are the marginal favourites to win on the night, but I really fancy the visitors to grab a goal here. Hearts have a good home record, and they have won seven of their last 10 matches at Tynecastle Park.
Both of these teams’ last 20 competitive matches are averaging three goals per game. This one should open up fairly on with the home team needing goals.
Over 2.5 goals in the match is priced at 1.95 with bet365. Hearts have won both of their home games this season, but they have conceded in each of them. The combination of Hearts pushing and space being left for Zurich on the counter should lead to goals.

Gent lost the first leg 2-0, and they are not looking to make a comeback on their trip to Cyprus. The first leg result was a huge shock, and the visitors are clear favourites to win this one in 90 minutes.
Gent won six corners in the first leg. They also had twice the amount of shots as Nicosia, but they were unable to find the net. They go into this one knowing they need at least two goals, and I expect them to commit plenty of men forward from the first whistle.
Gent are averaging seven corners per game in their last 10 competitive matches, and the game state should lead to them having more here.
SkyBet are offering odds of 1.91 for Gent to hit the same number of corners as they did in the first leg. They may be away this time, but the Belgian side are clear favourites. They should have enough quality to keep the pressure up on their opponents.
