Radnicki Nis vs Partizan Best Bet
Serbia, SuperLiga, 15th July, 19:00, (UK Time)
The Serbian top flight is back for another season as Radnicki welcome Partizan Belgrade in matchday two. In recent meetings, this clash has only ended in one outcome.
Partizan narrowly missed out on the title last season to fierce rivals Red Star in what was a dominant league season for the pair. The home side started the season by playing the current champions and lost by four goals to nil.
All of the last four matchups in the league between these two sides have ended in a win for Partizan and in that time they haven’t let in a goal. The gulf in class here is strong and once again, I expect the away side to take all three points in a fairly comfortable fashion.
Ilija Stolica’s side are priced as low as 1.20 for the victory at the Gradski Stadion Cair in Nis however backing them to keep Radnicki at bay raises the price into a 1.80 shot and seems worth a play given the difference in class and recent meetings.

Aarau vs Vaduz Best Bet
Switzerland, Challenge League, 15th July, 19:15 (UK Time)
One of the more goal-friendly leagues in football returns on Friday night in the Swiss Challenge League. I’ve backed a selection that has had a great success rate over the past number of seasons.
The home side finished 3rd last campaign whilst Vaduz finished five points and one place behind in 4th. Goals were certainly present in either side’s season, Aarau scored 67 and conceded 47 in 36 and Vaduz bagged 68 times and leaked 58 goals.
Over the last eight league meetings between these two sides this bet has landed on seven occasions. BTTS is priced as short as 1.50 in some places which is understandable given previous stats but I feel adding a goal to be scored in the opening half brings an added value.
Despite this being the opening game of the season I don’t believe it will be a slow and cagey opening, both sides are definitely capable of scoring goals and the forwards will want to open their accounts early on.

Koper vs Tabor Sezana Best Bet
Slovenia, Prva Liga, 15th July, 19:15 (UK Time)
Heading to Slovenia with my third and final selection with the opening day of the season sees last year’s runners up travel to Tabor Sezana, who struggled in terms of league position but kept things tight and always seemed to keep themselves in the game.
Given this is an opening day fixture it’s often tricky to predict how sides will play, they may stick to a similar game plan from the previous campaign or be completely different however games between these two are usually low scoring.
This exact fixture last season ended in favour of Koper who won 1-0, the reverse ended with two goals in a 1-1 draw and the three previous matches to that in 2021 all ended 1-0 to Koper.
Backing unders seems worthwhile here given the reasonable price and recent matchups, despite the hosts coming in as fairly strong favourites they’ll know that they will need to work for a goal let alone three points in front of the home support.
