Gareth Bale Next Club Odds: Return to Cardiff For Wales Star?
Although the Premier League fixtures have been announced for next season, the transfer window is yet to be open and with a number of names now looking for their next move, Gareth Bale arguably leads the list when it comes to newly available free agents.

After helping himself to another Champions League winning medal with Real Madrid, the Welsh forward has also played a major part in leading his country to a first World Cup appearance in 64 years.
While in doing so, it has also meant that any retirement talk from the Bale camp has been delayed until the start of 2023 at the earliest and with the now-former Galactico looking to keep himself fit before a trip to Qatar, there are plenty of clubs who are willing to assist him.
This means the former Tottenham star will not be short of options in the first half of the new season and now he must weigh up which ones will help his tilt at delivering the World Cup back to Wales.
With injury concerns lurking in the background, the next move that Bale makes is going to be incredibly important and if the wrong choice is made, it may hamper any last hurrah on the international scene.
Then again, if the right choice is made, it will not only help the man in question but whoever his new employers turn out to be and with Bale still having a lot to offer, his signature is going to be a rather coveted one.
Therefore with just a handful of days before the summer transfer window finally reopens, it is time to look at who are the genuine candidates when it comes to landing this Welsh wing wizard.

Could a homecoming be on the cards? That is the question that everyone is currently asking themselves and although Bale’s previous wage of £600k per week would be an obvious stumbling block, money will not be the sole factor in any move that is made.
Because the sole principle for any continuation of this illustrious playing career, is to keep fit for international purposes and although the EFL Championship can be a war of attrition at times, Cardiff would be more than willing to let the man in question pick his own schedule.
That is not to say that a player would be telling the manager what to do in terms of selection, but instead of the usual Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday schedule, Bale could just as easily play each weekend and still be of great value to Cardiff.
Although it could also be considered as a marriage of convenience, there is merit to it at the same time and with the Bluebirds looking to return to the Premier League, the arrival of Wales’ greatest may be the launch pad they need to earn promotion.
Admittedly the Premier League is going to be a more appealing prospect but it will not offer the sentiment that a move to Cardiff would and for that reason, this could be one of the most surprising transfers that takes place this summer.

Gareth Bale to Nottingham Forest Odds
Then again, if the Premier League still does have enough appeal, there will be no shortage of suitors either and with Nottingham Forest making their own return to the Premier League, they will also look to land a statement signing in the summer.
One that would offer Bale the opportunity to compete against the very best that English football has to offer and if continual fitness is key, playing at the highest level will only keep the former Southampton starlet even sharper.
With that said, maybe the rigours of the Premier League may be too much for the 32-year-old and with the ability to coast through the Championship seeming more appealing, Steve Cooper may well be pipped to the post in this particular race.

Of course, there is another Premier League outfit that should not be ignored in all of this and that is Newcastle – especially as they have the budget to truly match any hefty wage demands that may need to be met.
Because with Newcastle’s new owners looking for a marquee signing, Bale would fit this remit perfectly and in addition to this, any arrival on Tyneside would only further the Magpies’ bid to move up the table.
Admittedly the Champions League is still two or three years away from making a long-overdue return to St James’ Park but if they could snare Bale from the clutches of Cardiff, it would only help accelerate the club’s huge ambitions.

Gareth Bale to Getafe Odds
Although the Getafe owner is keen on keeping Bale in Spain, the player does not share the same interest and when recently pressed on where his next move would be, the quote was as simple as saying “not Getafe”
This means for those who are looking to place a bet on this particular transfer market, backing a move to one of Madrid’s smaller outfits is not something that we would recommend.
Gareth Bale to Getafe Odds: 17.00
